According to eGigs.co.uk, before their headline performance at this year’s Download Festival, Birmingham’s own heavy metal legends BLACK SABBATH return to their home city for the first time in thirteen years for an intimate homecoming show at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on Saturday, May 19th. A donation to Help For Heroes will be made from the proceeds of the show.

The reformed band – featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler (original drummer Bill Ward is still having a dispute with the members) – are currently working on their first studio album in thirty three years and first since 1978’s Never Say Die!
Black Sabbath will also headline the legendary Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago this August before returning to the studio to finish recording their long-awaited studio album.
Tickets are priced at £45 and go on sale at 9am on Friday, May 4th.
