Yesterday morning (Sunday, June 17th) the legendary QUEEN drummer Roger Taylor made a surprise appearance on the streets of London – on a guided pub tour – all to raise money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust (an AIDS Charity set up by Queen and the bands management after Freddie Mercury died).
The walk was arranged as part of the Freddie For A Day campaign which encourages people to dress as Freddie for one day to raise sponsorship money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust.
