Italian hardrock metallers THE ROCKER have just completed the recording of the second album (the follow up for “The Rocker – Italian Bastards”, released on 27.02.2010).
The work sessions were held – from the end of August to September 10th – at Command Studio in Los Angeles (CA), the mixing was carried out by Fabrizio Grossi (known both as bassist, having worked with Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Neal Schoen, Slash and others, as well as sound engineer and producer of artists such as Glenn Hughes, Dave Navarro, Steve Lukather, House of Lords, just to name a few).
The mastering was handled by the famous master engineer Pete Doell (Universal Mastering), who has worked on materials of several world-famous stars (e.g. Frank Sinatra, Céline Dion, James Brown, Marilyn Manson, Miles Davis, Ben Harper, Little, Beach Boys, Elton John and many others).
At the moment it has been revealed that the album title will be “Blood Strength And Soul” and will contain eleven tracks of pure hard rock, with some southern veins.
In addition to vocalist Edo Arlenghi (better known as the leader of Riff-Raff, the famous AC-DC tribute band), author of the lyrics and music, the following musicians have participated to the recordings; guitarist Sergio Aschieris, bassist Fabrizio Grossi and drummer Simon Wright (AC-DC, UFO, Rhino Bucket, DIO, Dio Disciples), who, moreover, has already played with the THE ROCKER at the end of 2011.
THE ROCKER filmed also a video in the Californian desert, for the title track “Blood strength and soul”. The release date will be announced later on.
