In the first hour of the show, Europe frontman Joey Tempest discusses the band’s new live CD/DVD/Blu Ray package “Live At Sweden Rock – 30th Anniversary Show”. Joey selects four songs from the album, including Europe’s covers of Thin Lizzy’s “Jailbreak” (featuring Scott Gorham) and UFO’s “Light Out” (featuring Michael Schenker). Joey also talks about the band’s plans to record and release a new album in 2014.
Part 1 also features a chat with Rob Traynor, frontman with rising US Metal crew Black Water Rising (currently on an American tour with Kill Devil Hill) , which looks at the band’s new album “Pissed and Driven”.
And in part 2, Running Wild mainman Rolf Kasparek gives the low down on the writing and recording of the band’s new album “Resilient”, and chooses two tracks.
Also in part 2, Blues Rock guitar heroine Joanne Shaw Taylor drops in to talk about her new live album and DVD “Songs From The Road”. The interview also features a pair of live songs from the new release.
