After a long worldwide tour, ICED EARTH came back to their homes for some rest. Legendary rifle man and the band’s main man Jon Schaffer has just posted a Thank You Message to their fans via a post on their official Facebook page, which can be read below:
“Hello metal brothers and sisters!
After 8 months of world touring, the band and crew are finally home, taking a much needed, and well deserved, few weeks off.
I want to thank my band mates and crewmembers for making it a successful and adventurous run.
I also want to thank Sabaton and Revamp for their support and friendship, it was a great package, and we all certainly had a good time.
The biggest thanks, however, goes to you, the most awesome and dedicated fan base any band could ask for. From each and every one of us, thank you for making it killer… Wherever we are in the world!
Best to you all, Jon Schaffer”
ICED EARTH are some restless and tireless metallers and after about 3 weeks of rest they will back on stage again. The band has already confirmed Nummirock , Hellfest , Wacken Open Air, Masters Of Rock Festival and Turock Open Air festivals for this summer.
Metal Shock Finland would like to wish the guys a wonderful and peaceful break with their families.
