Doogie White, vocalist with legendary guitarist Michael Schenker‘s TEMPLE OF ROCK band has posted that their recording studio in Germany has been broken into and all of Schenker‘s and Michael Voss‘s guitars have been stolen. You can read Doogie‘s statement below:
“IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT..
Fiends and concerned citizens.
Sometime between 6pm Friday 29th Aug and 11 am Sunday 31st August 2014
some robbing thieving bastards broke into Kidroom Studios in Greven Germany, where we are recording the new TEMPLE OF ROCK album “Spirit on a Mission” and stole . At the moment we are accessing the extent of the damage but ALL Michael Voss and Michael Schenker’s guitars have been stolen. Please keep an eye out for any low life trying to pawn, sell or in some other way dispose of any of these guitars. There will be a press release and an up date very soon. Please feel free to share. xx DTW”
And a more recent update:
“UPDATE TO IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.
Fellow Rawkers and Rawkettes, it saddens me to inform you that not only did the thieving bastards steal Michael Schenker’s guitars but they have also made off with the hard-drives containing the tracks for the new TEMPLE OF ROCK album and the computer that had all the back-ups of our work.
It will take a moment or two for us to gather our thoughts and hatch new plans to re-record the whole thing.
As one moment in time is lost so another will take its place.
Really not best pleased but grateful to all of you who have posted, re-posted and shared. We can only wait and see what transpires over the next few days. Re-group and get down to business.
Very annoying but some nice new lyric ideas. “Round em up, Hang em High” Rather catchy dontcha think?
Please feel free to share this and if you have any info let us know
Cheers Doogie”
