When thinking about Heavy Metal in Florida during the early 90s, nobody would blame you if Death Metal immediately came to mind. The Sunshine State wasn’t all growls and blast beats though. A young Thomas Youngblood was lying the groundwork for a career in Power Metal, a career that would play second Flying V to no one. With KAMELOT having just released their eleventh masterpiece, Haven, we caught up with Mr. Youngblood. We discuss the state of the game, why he’s not a corpsegrinder, and what exactly is up with the “K”. It might confuse King Artie but it makes sense to us.
