Interview By Alison Booth
Metal heavyweights ACCEPT are back on the road again with their “Blind Rage Part IV” tour, finishing on 16th December in Bulgaria. The stalwarts of the metal world have travelled the globe since the release of their current and 14th album “Blind Rage” in 2014, which hit number one in the charts in Germany and Finland, delivering dynamic performances over and over again to faithful fans, now spanning generations.
Metal Shock Finland Senior Manager Alison Booth also has a radio show, Blackdiamond’s Metal Mayhem, every Tuesday from 6PM on http://www.totalrock.com. She recently had a chat with Wolf, as part of the show’s third birthday celebrations, prior to ACCEPT‘s one-off UK show at The Forum in London on 7th December. Wolf spoke of the forthcoming tour and plans for the follow up to their last album “Blind Rage”. We already posted some news from this interview about Wolf‘s next classical album which you can read about here.
The full show will soon be online at this location and you can listen to the chat with Wolf on the audio player below.
Discussing future plans and when the next ACCEPT album will be unleashed, Wolf explained:
“We’ve been hitting it so hard these last five years. We could’ve already started, but it was so nice not to jump right into the studio after all this touring for Blind Rage.
In January Peter and I will lock ourselves away and the cycle will start again. It’s gonna be ready when it’s gonna be ready, but we’re trying to get something out next year, or something ready next year, recorded.”
