Naples-based symphonic metallers POEMISIA, who just recently signed with ALPHA OMEGA Management, and finished touring with ORPHANED LAND on their acoustic tour in Europe, have announced Pasquale Murino, as their new violinist.

“We have to announce the departure of our violinist Sabrina Barcellona. We have shared very fine moments, but due to personal reasons, we cannot continue our journey together. We all want to wish you good luck for all your future projects!

So we also want to welcome in our family the very talented musician Pasquale Murino. He’s a high experienced violinist as well as a big metalhead! Looking forward to see you on stage with our new line up! Stay tuned.”

The musical style of POEMISIA is focused on sounds which combine metal music to opera and symphonic elements, which are also made by the light-lyric soprano voice of Tina Gagliotta. This duality leads to a tendency to mark the continuous conflict between darkness and light, between death and life, between Hell and Heaven, sometimes also in a peculiar grotesque way. This is fully reflected also in the lyrics which have always a refined nature. Currently POEMISIA is working on new material for the follow up of their debut full length “La danza degli spiriti” (“The dance of the spirits”) which was released in 2013.
