Italy, Naples-based symphonic metallers POEMISIA have announced their new bass player, Salvatore Talento (in the photo):

“Dear friends,
It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce that our bassist Ciro is no longer part of the Poemisia family. After five long years together he leaves a big place to fill. Who knows us, knows that in our last show (Kiev) we had the honour to play with the great and talented Ukranian bassist Zlatoyar which we want to thank one more time. But now, my friends, it’s time to complete the family again. Therefore we have the pleasure to announce that we have already found another great musician which will step in and keep the show going on. A huge welcome in our family to Salvatore Talento which will rock the stage and the studio for our future projects!”

The musical style of POEMISIA is focused on sounds which combine metal music to opera and symphonic elements. This duality leads to a tendency to mark the continuous conflict between darkness and light, between death and life, between Hell and Heaven, sometimes also in a peculiar grotesque way. Italy, Naples-based symphonic metallers POEMISIA are confirmed, as main support, for Russian folk/pagan metallers ARKONA on their show in Kiev, on March 12th!

“For all our beautiful Ukrainian fans, this is for you! After our very first show in Kiev just two years ago, our second one last year, we couldn’t miss this year, so it’s time for the third one! We’re very glad to support Arkona for this show and would be very pleased to meet all of you amazing people again! See you on stage!!”

HERETIC’S DREAM is a female fronted five piece Rock band that can’t easily be labelled as playing anyone type of Rock music! Italian Hardcore metallers MELLOWTOY, formed in 2002, have toured Italy and throughout Europe with renowned international acts like Papa Roach, Disturbed, Stone Sour, Ill Nino, Alter Bridge, HIM & Fear Factory. This 6-piece combo is set to hit everyone with their unique wave of sound on their live shows. Their latest effort “Lies” came out in January 2015 (on Scarlet Records). Italian alternative Hard Rock Band AVENUELIE, who recently toured with Pain Of Salvation, released their latest effort “Genesi” in 2015, presenting different themes such as temptation, addiction, consciousness, the power of defeats, pride, ranging from powerful riffs and hard rock songs, to poignant ballads and acoustic songs with progressive and electronic elements. POEMISIA Announce New Violinist Maricarmela “Maca” Li Pizzi

Naples-based symphonic metallers POEMISIA have announced their new violinist:

“A huge “welcome to our family” to our new violinist Mariacarmela “Maca” Li Pizzi! She will perform in our next shows (oh yes, there is some great news coming up) as well in the future releases!

We are very happy that she is part of the band. Wonderful musician and wonderful person. We found out that our minds are perfectly tuned together and we’re sure that great things will come out!”

This is what Mariacarmela wants to add:
“Being a part of this project is like unleashing my deepest instincts. A great band and great people. Looking forward to play live!”

Currently POEMISIA is working on new material for the follow up of their debut full length “La danza degli spiriti” (“The dance of the spirits”) which was released in 2013.

Italian progressive rock/metal band HERETIC’S DREAM, who recently signed with ALPHA OMEGA Management, are confirmed as direct support for the live shows of ELUVEITIE in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Naples-based symphonic metallers POEMISIA, who just recently signed with ALPHA OMEGA Management, and finished touring with ORPHANED LAND on their acoustic tour in Europe, have announced Pasquale Murino, as their new violinist.

“We have to announce the departure of our violinist Sabrina Barcellona. We have shared very fine moments, but due to personal reasons, we cannot continue our journey together. We all want to wish you good luck for all your future projects!

So we also want to welcome in our family the very talented musician Pasquale Murino. He’s a high experienced violinist as well as a big metalhead! Looking forward to see you on stage with our new line up! Stay tuned.”
