The reunited Guns N’ Roses have officially mapped out their 20-date, stadium-invading Not in This Lifetime Tour. Marc Canter/The Hell Gate/Corbis
With GUNS N’ ROSES “classic lineup” set to embark on their reunion run tonight, Friday 1st April, with an intimate gig at Los Angeles’ Troubadour, the group – featuring Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and other unspecified band members – have announced their Not in This Lifetime Tour, issued Rollingstone.com. The stadium-invading tour’s name winks on the widely held belief by GNR fans that Rose and Slash would never perform together again.
After an April filled with the Troubadour gig, Las Vegas and Mexico City concerts and a pair of headlining Coachella slots, Guns N’ Roses will reconvene starting June 23rd for a tour-launching concert at Detroit’s Ford Field. As it stands now, the trek will stretch across two months and 20 cities, eventually culminating with an August 22nd gig at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium. A date for a previously announced St. Louis show has yet to be announced.
Nighttrain fan club tickets for the Not in This Lifetime tour will go on sale starting April 2nd, with a Facebook pre-sale to follow April 7th. General on-sale begins April 8th at Ticketmaster.
