Metal Mind Productions just recently announced that after a 9-year hiatus, the biggest indoor metal festival in Eastern Europe – Metalmania, comes back to life! The 23rd edition of this iconic festival will be held on April, 22nd 2017 in Spodek Hall, Katowice (Poland). Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 28th!

Moonspell is a Portuguese gothic metal band. Formed in 1992, the group quickly gained cult status and became one of the most recognizable metal bands from Portugal. “Extinct”, their most recent album was released in 2015.
Sodom is a German thrash metal band formed in 1981. Along with Kreator, Destruction and Tankard, the band is considered one of the “Big 4” of Teutonic thrash metal. They achieved their first commercial success with their third studio album Agent Orange (1989), which was the first thrash metal album to enter the German album charts. The band remains one of the best-selling thrash metal acts of all time, having sold over one million records.
Furia is a Polish band formed in 2003 in Katowice. It is considered as one of the most influential black metal groups in Poland. Their fifth studio album “Księżyc milczy luty” is scheduled for release on November, 14th.
It will be one of the most important musical events of 2017, a real treat for metal maniacs worldwide! Metalmania remains true to its formula – one day, two stages, several bands from all around the world and thousands of fans! That’s what Metalmania Festival is all about!
The last edition of Metalmania Festival took place at Spodek Hall in Katowice on March, 8th 2008, with Megadeth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Overkill and Satyricon on the bill!
