BLACK STONE CHERRY has teamed up with Metal Shock Finland to premiere, for Finnish territory, their new hilarious music video “Cheaper To Drink Alone”, the latest single off ‘Kentucky’ (released in 2016 via Mascot Label Group). Directed by Blake Judd and featuring Lzzy Hale & Joe Hottinger of Halestorm and comedians Ron White & Alex Reymundo, the video is set at a speed dating event, with the band members playing the roles of many of the daters, both male and female. The “female” daters are then shown rocking out at a Black Stone Cherry concert, to hilarious effect.

Comments Tarja Virmakari, Metal Shock Finland‘s CEO/Founder/President:
“What a pleasure to premiere this hilarious video by Black Stone Cherry! These guys have the right attitude to dare and step outside of the comfort zone, offering something new for the fans, proving that sometimes life is better to take from the lighter point of view. After all, it’s all about R’nR!”
Commented BLACK STONE CHERRY:
“This video is the first time we have stepped outside of our comfort zone, only to end up further into our comfort zone! It’s funny, it’s light hearted, it’s rock n roll. It shows a side of the band that exists on a daily basis, and that is our love for ridiculous humor and not taking ourselves too seriously. We hope y’all enjoy it as much as we did creating it! We are also honored to have appearances of our friends from Number JUAN Tequila, Against The Grain Brewery, and Lzzy and Joe from our long time buddies, Halestorm.”
The video was filmed at The Spillway Bar & Grill in Bowling Green, KY. The band would like to extend a special thanks to The Spillway, as well as to Against the Grain Brewery and Number JUAN Tequila, for their support in the video shoot.
“Cheaper to Drink Alone” is currently at US Rock Radio, Alongside Black Stone Cherry’s Extensive US Tour. Click here for tour details and ticketing info – http://www.bandsintown.com/blackstonecherry

More information on BLACK STONE CHERRY:
Nearly a decade ago, Black Stone Cherry made its attention-grabbing self-titled debut at Barrick Recording Studio near their hometown of Edmonton, KY. It proclaimed the arrival of a vibrant and exciting new force in southern rock ‘n’ roll, a group that played with fire, sang with brimstone and had plenty of cajones. Flash forward nine years, the band’s latest album ‘Kentucky’ is very much a ‘back to their roots’ affair, with the four-piece working with the same engineer in the same ‘local’ studio, Barrick Recording, where they crafted their eponymous debut. The band has developed an enormous following, touring six continents, headlining festivals, topping the charts, and sharing the stage with Def Leppard, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alter Bridge, Halestorm, Shinedown, Theory of a Deadman, and more.
