Metal Shock Finland (World Assault )

The effort to rock out to knock out Muscular Dystrophy started back in 2009 and has grown by leaps and bounds since. This year Rock Against Dystrophy continues their fight for awareness and fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association with another All Star show.

On Sunday, August 27th 2017 Rock Against Dystrophy brings the Rock Against Dystrophy All Stars 2017 back to the New Jersey metal haven Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey. Returning for his 5th time as MC is TattooTony of Under My Skin Tattoo. This years local bands supporting the cause are Ashes Of Your Enemy, Diesel America, Broken Past, and Psychoprism. And closing out the show will be the RAD All Stars.

This years RAD All Stars line up is just as big as ever before. They are made up of Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth (Overkill), Derek Tailer (Overkill), DD Verni (Overkill), Ron Lipnicki (Overkill), Mark Tornillo (Accept/TT Quick), Chris Caffery, John DeServio (Black Label Society), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Danzig), Jack Frost (Seven Witches), David DiPietro (TT Quick), Danny Watts (BulletBoys), Ken Dubman (Prophet), Scott Metaxas (Prophet), Nina Osegueda (A Sound Of Thunder), and Paul Crook (Anthrax/MeatLoaf).

Nina Osegueda says “I’m very honored to be involved in such a great cause with such incredible musicians, and it’s all thanks to Turbo for making it happen.”
And Chris Caffery adds “RAD kicks ass!”

Rock Against Dystrophy is a fundraising effort start by brothers Turbo and Jay Scorpion, whom both have Spinal Muscular Atrophy, with proceeds from each event going to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Since Rock Against Dystrophy’s first event in 2009 they’ve rallied to rock and metal community together to raise awareness and money for their cause.
