Swedish rockers BLACK INK RIVER have recently released the second single from their forthcoming album, via GMR Music Group. ‘Sulphur Sky’ is a parody of the ultra-religious revival movement, according to the band – check it out below:
Background:
Black Ink River was formed 2016 by Daniel Wahlström, Roger Johannessen and Bosse Karlsson and was first intended as a studio project. Writing and recording rock songs for a potential album.
When all the songs for the album were written, Anders Modd joined and the project now became a band that could jam and play live shows.
The album got recorded and was titled “Headstrong”. Black Ink River signed with GMR Music Group (Stagman,Frantic Amber, Mefisto etc) to release the record and it eventually came out in October 2018. To push the record the band did some club shows and festivals in Sweden.
