The 7 string guitar virtuoso, singer, songwriter and pianist internationally known as THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF is thrilled to release the result of her very exciting collaboration with multi platinum selling producer John Haywood; her very own, re-written versions of “Toccata & Fugue” and “Moonlight Sonata”, with full orchestration.
Watch below a teaser from the upcoming music video.
These two masterful versions of the songs have been added to the already impressive track-list of the new, upcoming DELUXE version of her best selling album; “2 Guitars – The Classical Crossover Album,” which was the exciting and beautiful result of her collaboration with world leading classical guitarist Craig Ogden. Originally released in 2014, the album charted at number 1 on Amazon, USA, and has gone in and out of the charts in several countries, since then.
With “Toccata” and “Moonlight” added to this DELUXE version of the album , the track-list now includes 5 impressive virtuoso pieces, not normally played on guitar, including the first ever guitar recordings of “Zigeunerweisen Op. 20” (her music video for this instantly went viral) and “Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso.” It also features their much acclaimed version of Paganini’s “Caprice 24,” which also had a viral music video.
In addition to the virtuoso pieces, the album also features several other beautiful tracks, such as their widely praised guitar version of “Por Una Cabeza” and “Una Furtiva Lagrima.”
“The Chief” has launched a pre-order campaign for the DELUXE version of the album, where music lovers can get their name in the CD booklet, if they order before October 18th.
The album will be available on all digital platforms, in addition to her official website. Signed CDs are available for pre-order on her official website now.
As said by “The Commander In Chief:“
“It has taken me 4 long years to get back to playing the classical crossover songs again, after my long period of illness and painful recovery, caused by a parasite infection. No one can possibly understand the happiness I feel right now, being able to play the most beautiful music ever composed again. It was a true honour to be able to work with John Haywood on these two beautiful tracks, and I am incredibly proud of the result.”
