It’s the September man, the Italian keyboard player Alberto Sonzogni that, after three years of hard work , has selected 10 tracks to be included in his upcoming debut album.
‘September Man’ ‘s sound has been driven by Sonzogni’s listenings of artists like Toto, Eagles, Joe Bonamassa and many more. The result is a unique blend of melodic rock and aor, influenced by country and blues on some tracks, that the album offers to the listeners.
During recordings Alberto has been supported by his fellow musicians Gessica Pirola – vocals; Daniele Finazzi – guitars; Nicolò Gullotto – bass e Stefano Guidi – drums. On the record many special guests appear that have already collaborated with Sonzogni on their respective albums, like Dale Sanders and The Black Phoenix (Simone Pirola).

The record is set to be released on February 12th via Freemood – Feelmaker record label, available on both CD and digital.
Sonzogni about the making of September Man: “As many debut records, this has started as a joke, I was writing small chords loops and melodies when I realized I had so much material to be able to record a full album. All this songs are born when I was listening artists like Trace Adkins, Toto, Kid Rock, Kiefer Sutherland, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Bonamassa and many more. Every listening experience had an impact on me and I was focused on learning by these artist’s musical ideas. This is where the ispiration begun to flow to write my own songs, without mimicking these artists, but trying to be 100% me”.
