MORTEMIA Release New Single ‘My Demons and I’ Feat. Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers)

Morten Veland (SIRENIA, MORTEMIA and founder of TRISTANIA) is about to release the 6th MORTEMIA single from ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’. The song features Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers) on guest vocals, and is due for release on the 10th of December 2021 via all digital platforms. The track is entitled ‘My Demons and I’.

After 11 years of silence Norwegian multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist Morten Veland is once more active with his solo project Mortemia, this time with a brand new concept. ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’ is a series of singles released on a monthly basis, each song featuring a well known and highly profiled singer in metal. Madeleine Liljestam (Eleine), Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion, Ayreon, MaYaN, The Gentle Storm, Dark Horse White Horse), Alessia Scolletti (Temperance) and Liv Kristine (ex-Theatre of Tragedy, ex-Leaves Eyes) and Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum, The dark side of the moon) were the five first special guests on this project. And now for the sixth single Morten has teamed up with Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers).

The sixth song is entitled ‘My Demons and I’, and will be available on all digital platforms on the 10th of December 2021. Me and Brittney toured together back in 2016, when Sirenia and Unleash the Archers toured Europe along with 3 more bands. Brittney instantly impressed me on all levels with her incredible vocal performance, hard working ethics and kind personality. Brittney has an extremely huge vocal range and a very powerful voice that I instantly thought would fit perfectly for this song. I feel truly privileged and thankful to have Brittney onboard this project, and I am really looking forward to sharing this song with you all. This song is definitely one of the heaviest songs I have ever written.”
