For the first time in São Paulo, Rockin’1000 – the Biggest Rock Band on Earth, known for the viral video that brought the Foo Fighters to Cesena, in partnership with Fever, the leading global live entertainment discovery platform and creator of Candlelight, announce Rockin’1000 São Paulo: the concert with 1000 musicians scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the Allianz Parque Stadium in São Paulo, Brazil.
For Rockin’1000 São Paulo – the first stop of Rockin’1000 in South America, 250 drummers, 350 guitarists, 150 bassists and 250 singers are expected to play great classics of international and Brazilian Rock music simultaneously.
“Brazil has always had a Rock soul and a strong inclination to played music; this is probably the reason why since our birth, we have received so many demonstrations of esteem and so many invitations to play in this country.” – declares Fabio Zaffagnini – Founder of Rockin’1000 – “We waited for years before crossing the Atlantic, we needed to find the right partner, and we believe Fever is the ideal one to establish ourselves more and more as a global band. In a world that seems to want to nurture divisions and draw boundaries, we increasingly feel it is our mission to bring people together, in our own way, through music, through Rock.”
For musicians, applications are open at www.rockin1000.com, and recruitment is open to all musicians from around the world who are already registered on the platform and to new musicians who come from the Brazilian territory. Rockin’1000 is looking for guitarists, bassists, drummers, and singers of all ages and backgrounds and invites them to apply to experience a unique opportunity: playing in front of the São Paulo audience.
For all those who want to attend a unique and unforgettable show with a repertoire of extraordinary covers played by a thousand musicians at the same time that make a timeless journey inside the History of Rock, Rockin’1000 São Paulo promises to be the Rock event of 2022!

Rockin’1000 – The Biggest Rock Band on Earth
In 2015, a marine geologist passionate about rock who had never organized an event before got help from his friends, who were insiders in the world of entertainment, to achieve the impossible. Fabio Zaffagnini’s goal: to gather 1000 musicians in a meadow to play “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters in unison to convince the famous American group to perform in his city, Cesena. The video of the performance immediately went viral (today it has over 60 million views) and the Foo Fighters responded, accepting the invitation and adding a date to their tour. From this unexpected success, a format was born: Rockin’1000, the Biggest Rock Band on Earth. The band has performed many concerts in stadiums and special locations, created an album produced with Sony Music Italy and the outbound film We are The Thousand – directed by Anita Rivaroli, which tells the story of the band’s genesis and is currently nominated in some of the most important international film festivals. From an original idea by Fabio Zaffagnini, created with founders Claudia Spadoni, Martina Pieri, Mariagrazia Canu and “Cisko” Ridolfi, today Rockin’1000 is an award-winning company that carries out international projects and is invited to collaborate with partners around the world.
