The 2020 established Metal collective KAIRA has released their new single “Vanki” (eng. Prisoner) from their upcoming EP release which will see the light of day later this year.
“Vanki” tells a crushing story of how an alcoholic still has the possibility to choose whether to pick the bottle or start healing. This heavy new single is dedicated to the lead vocalist’s mom who passed away in early 2022.
“I knew right away what kind of mood and feel this song needs and what would be the story behind the lyrics when our guitarist brought this song to the table. “Vanki” represents both sides of beauty in our music: heavyness and lightness.
