Supersoaker is about what it’s like living during these times in poverty-stricken areas. With corrupt politicians and the cost of living rising to unreachable points, It’s the band’s first controversial song with meaningful lyrics that hit close to home.
Trying to Understand is about the confusing times that you can’t avoid in adult life. Turning 18 and immediately being hit with the ego-killing responsibilities that come with it.
Honey’s Dead is about a character named Honey who takes part in substance abuse. Her life is known to be at a dead end so she has all the more reason to continue her downward spiral. The song reflects on the people we see every time we visit a busy city, the people nobody would notice if they were to disappear.
People Creep is about growing out of your youth and realising the worlds no so perfect and the people in it can just be filthy. It also calls back to a fear of time itself and whatever that holds.
