Polish Cairo-Based Guitarist/Songwriter ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ Unveils Extended 2023 Version of His Captivating Song ‘Mirrors Lie’

ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ – former recording artist for Down Boys Records, owned by Erik Turner and Jerry Dixon from the legendary American band Warrant – unveils an extended version of his captivating song “Mirrors Lie” from his guitar instrumental 2022 album “Misery Loves Company”. The release of this new version coincides with the one-year anniversary celebration of the album’s initial release.

“Mirrors Lie” is a hard rock melodic tune infused with a touch of funk and an irresistibly catchy groove, accentuated by the dynamic bass of Patryk Szymanski. This song serves as the album opener, symbolizing a pivotal moment in Citowicz’s musical journey as a guitarist and musician, marking the beginning of an instrumental trilogy that would redefine his artistry.

Citowicz reflects, “This song holds a special place in my heart as it signifies the start of a new chapter in my musical evolution. Just recently Andrzej announced that he has started recording sessions for his highly-anticipated upcoming album, “Hive Of Weirdness”. Under the moniker of CITOVITZ AND THE FIREFLIES OF FEBRUARY, Citowicz aims to captivate listeners with his unique blend of guitar-driven, cinematic instrumentals.

This forthcoming album, set to be released in 2024, will mark the final chapter of Citowicz’s guitar instrumental trilogy that began with “Misery Loves Company” in 2022 and was followed by the recent release of “Never Ending Storms” just a few weeks ago. Building upon the foundation set by these previous works, “Hive Of Weirdness” promises to deliver new ideas and visions while staying true to Citowicz’s passion for rock music and the beloved guitar.

Joining Citowicz on this musical journey are talented collaborators Patryk Szymanski on bass and DJ Timmy Savage, who adds a fresh and experimental flavor to the guitar-driven, cinematic instrumentals. DJ Timmy Savage, a mysterious rapper and dance music producer, is known for his innovative approach and will bring new dimensions to Andrzej’s classic rock visions.

When asked about the upcoming album, Citowicz shared his thoughts, saying, “Creating music has saved my life and made my life better.
