ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ, the acclaimed guitarist and composer known for his work with Citovitz And The Fireflies Of February, has unveiled his latest musical offering – the new single “Fear Poems” from his upcoming EP “Winter Love”. This highly anticipated release marks a bold new direction for the artist, fusing his signature guitar-driven sound with the soaring vocals of pop artist Justine St. Claire.
Citowicz, who has been a recording artist for the legendary American label DownBoys Records for many years, has collaborated extensively with bass maestro Patryk Szymanski over the course of his career. This long-standing creative partnership has played a pivotal role in shaping the unique sonic landscape of “Winter Love.”
“‘Winter Love’ represents a new chapter in my musical journey,” said Citowicz. “With the help of AI-powered tools and a focus on live instrumentation, I’ve been able to craft a sound that seamlessly blends the raw power of rock with the infectious energy of pop. Working alongside Justine St. Claire has been an absolute revelation – her vocals elevate the material to new heights, while Patryk’s synth bass work provides a pulsing backbone that drives the entire EP forward.”
The lead single “Fear Poems” serves as a tantalizing preview of the sonic alchemy that awaits listeners on the full “Winter Love” EP, scheduled for release on December 1, 2024. Citowicz’s virtuosic guitar work intertwines with St. Claire’s soaring melodies, creating a expansive, cinematic soundscape that is both emotionally resonant and rhythmically captivating.
“This project has been a true labor of love,” Citowicz continued. “It’s my hope that ‘Winter Love’ will transport listeners to a world of wonder and imagination, where the boundaries between genres fade away and the only thing that matters is the power of great music.”

September 5th 2024, ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ’s CITOVITZ AND THE FIREFLIES OF FEBRUARY (CTFF) premiered via YouTube their latest album “Living Machine”.
This project features two talented musicians: Andrzej Citowicz, a guitarist and composer originally from Wałbrzych, Poland, now residing in Cairo, who has collaborated with guitarists from the legendary American band Warrant; and Patryk Szymański, a bassist and guitarist from Działdowo, Poland, known for his work with the band Transtime.
“Living Machine” – comprises 10 tracks. The album blends ’80s rock vibes with modern sounds. What sets this release apart is the inclusion of vocal parts, a departure from the band’s previous instrumental albums. Through a collaboration with TuneCore, the musicians leveraged artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. AI not only generated vocal parts for the provided lyrics and tracks but was also applied to existing vocal recordings, giving them a completely new dimension.
