Post metal quartet Telepathy release their interpretation of Noiseboy‘s ‘To Breathe in Chaos’ today. It’s part of their upcoming EP Transmissions 2.0 out 12th June focusing on remixes and covers – a reworking of the band’s lauded 2025 album Transmissions (Pelagic Records).
In the recording process of their new EP they exchanged songs with industrial/noise artist Noiseboy, who reworked Telepathy‘s ‘Knife Edge Effect’, while Telepathy showcase today their interpretation of ‘Breathe in Chaos’.
Telepathy comment:
“Transmissions 2.0 was born from a single premise: What would happen, if we applied the institution of remix culture found in electronic music to the instrumental rock world? With Transmissions we added a heap of synthesisers, cinematic and electronic textures to our sound – so when approaching this EP, it felt natural to give some tracks to artists that could expand on this part of our sound. Rather than basic remixes the artists were invited to reconstruct the tracks entirely.”
