The countdown is over. Yesterday, on August 15, 2026, CHARNEL CROWN officially released “Such Is Life”, their highly anticipated debut EP, opening an important new chapter in the band’s story.
Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Charnel Crown are a relatively young band, formed in December 2025, but featuring musicians with solid experience gained over the years on the Irish live circuit.
From the very beginning, the band have chosen a clear direction: to build a heavy, modern and direct sound without taking shortcuts or simply following current trends.
The result is a groove metal sound driven by powerful riffs, aggressive rhythms, dark atmospheres and a strong emotional component, capable of combining sheer heaviness with more reflective moments.

“Such Is Life” was born from Charnel Crown’s desire to tell reality as it is, without embellishment and without filters. The journey towards “Such Is Life” began on August 1, 2026, with the release of the title track, accompanied by its official music video.
The single represented the first taste of the project, introducing listeners to the Charnel Crown sound and building anticipation for the release of the complete EP.
Today, with the full release finally available, listeners can discover the project in its entirety and explore all the different elements that shape the band’s debut.

A NEW INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION
The release of “Such Is Life” also comes as part of the new collaboration between Charnel Crown and Wanikiya Record/Promotion, which will handle the international promotion of the EP.
The collaboration was established with the goal of bringing the band’s music beyond the borders of Ireland and creating new opportunities for international exposure.
