Athens thrash metal band Eternal have premiered the new music video for “Man Down (In the Front Row)”, the latest track taken from their forthcoming debut album, Conspiracy of Warheads, due for release through Floga Records on 2 October 2026.
A fast, direct account of the chaos surrounding live music and touring, “Man Down (In the Front Row)” captures crowded venues, loud amplifiers, late nights and the consequences that can follow.
The track offers another side of a debut album otherwise driven by themes of war, government manipulation, conformity, violence and psychological pressure.
Across ten tracks, Conspiracy of Warheads channels the speed, precision and political distrust of ’80s thrash into a record shaped by Eternal’s own experiences as a young band developing through writing, recording and extensive live performance.
Since forming in Athens in 2022, Eternal have shared stages with Suicidal Angels, Amken, Karma Violens, Among Ruins, Gehennah, Terrorhammer, Biocancer and Typhus. That experience feeds directly into the album’s compact arrangements, fast tempos, tightly controlled rhythm section and twin-guitar riffing.
At the centre of the record is its title track, “Conspiracy of Warheads,” an anti-war song confronting the narratives used by governments and military powers to justify conflict while remaining distanced from its human cost.
Elsewhere, Eternal turn their attention to retaliation, reckless behaviour, distorted reality, social pressure and psychological confinement. The band favour clearly defined subjects and direct points of view, keeping the writing grounded and confrontational even as the themes become darker.
Eternal first introduced themselves with the demo “No Escape” in January 2024, followed by “Bloodspill” in May 2025. Both tracks return on Conspiracy of Warheads, now presented as part of a full-length record reflecting the band’s development over two years of writing, recording and live performance.
Conspiracy of Warheads was produced by Eternal. Guitars and bass were recorded at Avra Studios, with drums recorded at George Ziotas’ Studio. Vocals were recorded by Epameinondas Oikonomou at Symbolic P Studio. Mixing was completed at Symbolic P Studio by Costas “Naberius” Papadopoulos, whose credits include Yoth Iria.Mastering was handled by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions Mastering Studios, whose previous work includes Annihilator, Warlord, Rotting Christ and Beast in Black. The album cover artwork was created by Marcelo at DOD Illustrations.
Conspiracy of Warheads establishes Eternal’s position clearly. The band are rooted in thrash metal’s speed, discipline and political distrust, but their debut is shaped by their own environment, outlook and growing reputation as a forceful live band.
Rather than simply paying tribute to thrash metal’s past, Eternal use Conspiracy of Warheads to define what the band sound like right now.
Conspiracy of Warheads will be released through Floga Records on 2 October 2026.
