Grymheart has released “Wake Not The Beast”, the titletrack and first single taken from the new album to be released on November 20 by Scarlet Records.
“Wake Not The Beast” is about how unleashing an ancient evil force is not always a good idea. Don’t play with fire, because you will get burned. A powerful and energetic track, it also works perfectly as the album’s opening song, setting the mood for rest of the album. The guitar arrangements incorporate more black metal-inspired elements in several sections, giving the song a subtle northern atmosphere.

“Wake Not The Beast” is a direct continuation of the successful debut album ’Hellish Hunt’, combining the energy of power metal, the harmonies of folk metal, the epicness of symphonic metal and the harsh vocals of leader Gabriel Blacksmith.
The Grymheart trademark catchy melodies are now accompanied by heavier guitars, more epic orchestrations, and an even greater emphasis on battle choirs.
The overall Grymheart aesthetics come from iconic monsters & demons hunter characters, and the lyrics draw inspiration also from mystical locations known from mythology and literature while also weaving in deeper philosophical themes.
