RHINO PROOF‘s latest album received rave reviews across Europe and reached number four on the hard rock highlights charts in Italy and Portugal in 2018.
Following numerous line-up changes, the follow-up album “Light, Dark, The End” has finally been completed – the album is due for release on 6 November 2026 on Astral Haven Records.
The new album promises to be an ambitious, narrative experience and will be released as a concept album, presenting a four-part story alongside Jukka Nummi’s powerful vocals.
Axeman Rane says of the album:
“Working on it was a difficult and protracted process. Sometimes things went well, but then the difficulties piled up. Certain things also came to an end, and it took time to come to terms with them. This whole experience ultimately became the title of the album.”
Singer Jukka adds:
“The new album is truly fantastic overall, and although all the songs are different from one another, they still come together to form a cohesive whole. The range extends from heavy, pounding tracks to ballad-like interpretations. I’m proud of this album.”

Guitarist Rane comments on the song:
“When I was writing the song ‘Play By The Rules’, I thought back to my youth and the fact that I used to drink heavily. I often woke up on the floor and generally behaved badly. Fortunately, I realized how foolish I was being and started living sensibly”.
Vocalist Jukka on the new song:
“‘Play By The Rules’ is one of my favorites; I use my voice a little rougher on it—or actually, the guys kind of pushed me to do that—and I’m glad they did, because it fits the song’s vibe”.
