British classic metal standard‑bearers Absolva release their new live album, One Night in Mannheim, on 2nd October 2026 through their independent label Rocksector Records.
Captured live before a fired‑up German audience, One Night in Mannheim distils Absolva’s trademark twin‑guitar power, driving rhythms and anthemic hooks into a definitive document of the band’s on‑stage identity. The album highlights the raw energy and precision that have made Absolva a formidable presence across Europe for more than a decade.
The release is a precursor to the band’s 15th anniversary in 2027, marking a significant milestone in their evolution. Rooted in the traditions of classic heavy metal and hard rock while maintaining a sharp contemporary edge, Absolva continue to push forward with the same independence and determination that have defined their career.
Alongside their work in Absolva, the band also serve as the touring and recording line-up for Blaze Bayley, former Iron Maiden singer and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Their extensive experience performing worldwide is reflected throughout One Night in Mannheim in the band’s unmistakable chemistry and commanding execution. The new album stands as an authentic snapshot of a band delivering passionate, melodic and hard‑hitting heavy metal directly to its audience.
With 15 years of music, touring and creative resilience behind them, Absolva remain at the forefront of modern British classic metal. One Night in Mannheim celebrates that journey while signalling the band’s next chapter.
The album is available on CD, vinyl and all the usual digital platforms. See www.absolva.com for more info.
