LAST CHANCE are proud to announce their new album, ‘Dickpunch,’ the follow up to their 2023 self-titled debut. The new album is set to release on January 22, 2027. Celebrating the announcement, the band also shares the first single, “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker),” a cover of The Rolling Stones‘ 1973 classic, alongside a lyric video.
On the release of the new single, guitarist/producer Dave Baron shares:
“I’d wanted to cover the Stones’ ‘Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)’ for years before LAST CHANCE, and with Frankie being as big a Stones fanatic as I am, it finally made sense. The song suited both LAST CHANCE’s dark, lyrical themes and Frankie‘s NYC street voice perfectly. We stayed true to what makes the original great but my guitars and Brian’s drums made the song much more muscular than the original. And hearing Frankie sing ‘The police in New York City’ in an actual New York accent just felt right.”
LAST CHANCE marries the emotional fury of classic NYC punk with the muscular musicianship of hard rock — groove-heavy bass lines, explosive drums, virtuosic guitars, and songs built to bruise.
Gritty, defiant, and driven by life experience, LAST CHANCE delivers anthems for those who have been through hell and are still swinging. Their sound blends raw punk energy with dark, melodic hooks, sharp political edges, and a rhythm section that crushes like a steel trap.
Led by snarling frontman Frankie Rage and guitarist/producer Dave Baron, LAST CHANCE builds songs from the ashes of abuse, disillusionment, lost time, and unrelenting regret. Bassist/producer Rob Phillips brings the heavy groove, while Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Ozzy, Foreigner) and Jordan Cannata (Slaughter) drop a jet engine into these songs, with drumming that explodes from the tracks.
The band’s music is visceral and soul-worn. Forged in pain, but never wallowing. The songs are warnings, battle cries, and confessionals for the bruised and broken.
LAST CHANCE doesn’t want to save your soul. They want to burn it clean.
