A celebration of the band’s two-decade journey, Identity reflects ELYSION’s artistic evolution while paying tribute to the fans who have supported them along the way. Though not a concept album, its songs share a common atmosphere and explore identity, personal struggle, resilience, belonging, unity and hope in an increasingly fragmented world.

The album expands the band’s signature sound with a more dynamic and adventurous approach to songwriting, while retaining the atmospheric darkness and emotional intensity that have earned them an international following. It was produced by Fotis Benardo and ELYSION at Devasoundz Studio, mixed by Benardo and mastered by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions. The artwork was created by Dimitris Tzortzis.

“Identity is the most mature, intense and daring album we have ever created,” says the band. “It is true to our roots, but at the same time pushes our music further than ever before. In many ways, it represents exactly who we are today and what we have learned over twenty years of making music together. This album is our way of thanking everyone who stood by our side and believed in our songs.”

Identity features two special guest appearances: Greek metal icon Sakis Tolis of Rotting Christ contributes vocals to “Harvest”, while Konstantinos Togas of Nightrage and Herta joins the band on “The Last Ride”.

The album’s singles include “Guardian Angel”, “Phoenix” and “Dead Loves”. The video for “Guardian Angel” addresses child abuse and the urgent need to create a safer world for children. “Phoenix” celebrates resilience and the strength to rise again, while “Dead Loves” explores the enduring nature of love through a dark, gothic atmosphere.
