SoundsRock Agency is proud to announce the addition of TYSTNADEN to its roster.
Formed in 1999, Tystnaden have built their identity through a distinctive combination of instinctive energy, dark and elegant atmospheres, strong melodic sensibility and powerful, catchy riffs. Over the years, their sound has evolved from its darker origins into a more mature and expressive musical vision.
The band’s recording history began with the self-titled demo Tystnaden in 2000, followed by the EP Fragments in 2003, which received a strong response across Europe.
In 2006, Tystnaden released their first full-length album, “Sham of Perfection”, through German label Limb Music Products & Publishing, receiving worldwide distribution and excellent feedback from both the specialized press and fans.
Their second album, “In Our Eye”, followed in 2008 through Renaissance Records, with distribution throughout the USA and several countries across the Americas. In 2012, the band released their third full-length album, “Anima”, through Valery Records.
After years of silence, Tystnaden rediscovered themselves in 2023, bringing together their musical roots and a new artistic maturity.
This new chapter gave birth to “The Black Swan”, produced by Fabio D’Amore / Synonym Of Sound and recorded between Austria and Italy. Its title is inspired by Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s Black Swan theory and the impact that rare and unpredictable events can have on our lives.
