Having made their debut earlier this year with the singles “Terminal Phase” and “Digital Tear”, dystopian goth rock powerhouse ORDER return today with another grand, emotionally charged release. The new single “Into The Silence” embraces the listener with both intensity and comfort, continuing along the path ORDER have established, where dark tones, electronic sounds, and hauntingly beautiful melodies exist in perfect balance.
“Like ORDER’s songs generally, this track deals with big questions. Sometimes it’s difficult to recognise your own feelings, let alone put them into words. When your thoughts keep going round in circles and your mind retreats deeper and deeper into a dark place, finding a way out can be difficult.”
“Sometimes, our own strength or abilities aren’t enough to work through things alone. One of the hardest things is admitting your vulnerability and allowing yourself to need help. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. Quite the opposite,” says Daniel Tähkä.
From the very beginning, the duo formed by Daniel and Saku Solin, known for his work with Turmion Kätilöt, have created powerful mental imagery and cinematic elements through their music. “Into The Silence” now comes with an official visual counterpart: a music video written, filmed, edited, directed, and produced by the duo themselves. The video is available to watch here.
“When we were discussing the music video for ‘Into The Silence’, Daniel came up with the bold idea of making it ourselves. We were also drawn to the idea of expanding our creative work beyond music and getting hands-on with the visual side of things. The video took a lot of work and effort, as all great things do, but the end result speaks for itself,” says Solin.
