A DEBUT THAT REFUSES TO COMPROMISE
Formed in Rome on January 16, 2026, Tearskin operate in a sonic territory where death metal, metalcore, black metal, and extreme metal collide with electronic elements, symphonic atmospheres, and a vocal approach that moves between fragility, drama, and unrestrained aggression.
The result is a dark, theatrical, and visceral identity built around the contrast between beauty and distortion, vulnerability and violence, humanity and monstrosity.
At the heart of their artistic vision lies Trauma Kei, a concept that brings together Japanese Visual Kei, 1980s horror, shock rock, and extreme metal aesthetics. Within this dimension, emotional distress, isolation, and psychological fragmentation become instruments of artistic expression.
For Tearskin, music is more than entertainment. It is an emotional and cathartic experience, a way of transforming pain into something tangible, disturbing, and authentic.
THE JOURNEY BEGINS
With “A•S•P•H•Y•X•I•A,” the duo presents the first piece of a project designed to build a distinctive artistic universe, combining the intensity of extreme metal with a powerful visual and conceptual identity.
The worldwide exclusive advance premiere on Bandcamp marks the first official encounter with this emerging force from the Italian underground scene. The single will subsequently be released across all major digital platforms, expanding its reach and introducing Tearskin to new audiences in Italy and internationally.
Today, October 22, 2026, Tearskin open the door to their universe.
This is more than a debut. It is the beginning of an artistic vision unafraid to explore the darkest corners of human experience.
“A•S•P•H•Y•X•I•A” is the first wound.
And starting now, the world can finally hear it.
TEARSKIN are:
Fatus — Vocals
