SCARLET ANGER are set to release the new studio album “Echoes Of The Past” on January 22nd 2027 at Metalville.
With “Echoes of the Past”, SCARLET ANGER present their fourth album to date.
Musically, the new songs take a slightly more modern and experimental direction.
“Our thrash metal roots are still clearly audible, but this time we’re moving further towards modern thrash metal, experimenting with new elements and exploring different musical approaches. Our aim was to develop our sound further without losing our identity.”
The band’s evolution over the years is reflected in the songs on the new album. The tracks sound more modern, more mature and more varied. Rather than simply repeating what SCARLET ANGER have done before, the band members wanted to explore new possibilities and take their music into new dimensions.
The cover artwork was designed by Fred Molitor and visually realised by Jeff Buchette. Jeff, who is also a guitarist with SCARLET ANGER, was additionally responsible for the design of the booklet.
As always, the recordings took place at our guitarist Fred Molitor’s studio, where he was also responsible for the mix. Tony Lindgren handled the mastering at the renowned Fascination Street Studios in Sweden, with whom the band had already had a very positive experience on the album “Freak Show”.
“With ‘Echoes of the Past’, we want to show where Scarlet Anger stand today: as a band that remains true to its roots, continues to evolve musically and has the courage to break new ground.”
