LOVER is a Polish project combining classic electronic music with cinematic soundscapes and rock-influenced songwriting. The project is led by Witold Brylewski, known for his work with bands such as In Hell’s Duty and Sour Blood.
Following the release of his debut album, “Technicolor,” earlier this year, the Poznań-based artist returns with another chapter in his vision of electronic music. The new album was written and recorded by Witold Brylewski, with cover artwork by Maciej Gensler. Mixing and mastering were handled by Bartek Pych at Hugiz Records. Released today, October 30, 2026, “The Last Thing You Will Feel” is available on streaming platforms (listen here) and as a limited-edition CD.
“The Last Thing You Will Feel” is a natural continuation of “Technicolor,” released earlier this year, while also taking the project in a much more personal direction. LOVER’s work pays tribute to classic electronic music, science-fiction and horror cinema, and the idea of an album as a coherent story. This time, however, the focus shifts toward deeply human themes: death, grief, memory, love, hope and reflection on life.

Witold Brylewski comments on the concept behind the album:
“The album began with a question: what is the last thing we feel before we die? I am not trying to answer it. Instead, I want listeners to reflect on how they feel today, on their relationships, unfinished matters, and the things that are still left unsaid. Despite death being present throughout the record, The Last Thing You Will Feel is ultimately an album about love, memory, hope, and the way we choose to live.
The artwork reflects the same ambiguity. A green bird resting on barbed wire can be seen either as a vulnerable creature surrounded by danger or as a free spirit that refuses to be confined. Its intense, almost toxic colour is both beautiful and unsettling, just like the music itself.”
