Halloween is here and what is more all-day threatening than the tax office? This is at least the case for German metal band TBS (The Butcher Sisters). With “Finanzamt” (“tax office”), the Mannheim-based band are releasing a frightful tune on World Savings Day that’s guaranteed to stick in your head longer than your monthly paycheck stays in your account. Not only does the track provide the perfect soundtrack for upcoming Halloween parties (or your next tax return), it also proves once again that TBS have perfected the combination of crushing metal riffs and their unmistakable trademark humor – which might only translate fully in German, but leaves joy and fun nevertheless.
Following their sold-out hometown show in Mannheim, TBS are already looking ahead to their upcoming ‘Spaßtour’ in January, where they’ll once again showcase their funniest and characteristically chaotic side on stage. The band has also been confirmed for the Rock am Ring / Rock im Park 2027 lineup.
