German dark rock band UNZUCHT releases the new single and video ‘Zehnmond’.
UNZUCHT guitarist Daniel De Clercq explains: “We’ve always wanted to make a ‘wintery’ song centred around the theme of Christmas, but as a bonus track between our album releases. Perhaps also as a little thank-you to everyone whose heart beats with ours.”
No sooner said than done. ‘Zehnmond’ is a ‘wintery’ song about friendship, solidarity and that feeling of ‘coming home’.
It takes a critical look at consumerism, waste and the annual madness surrounding December – a month that should actually be a time of peace and contentment for us.
‘We stand by one another – in good times and bad’
Things weren’t necessarily better in the past, but the world didn’t weigh so heavily on your mind.
‘Zehnmond’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and will also be released physically as limited-edition 7” vinyl.
