SoundsRock Agency is thrilled to announce signing with VOODOO HIGHWAY!
Voodoo Highway formed in Ferrara, Italy, in 2010, bringing back the spirit of classic ’70s and ’80s hard rock with heavy riffs, Hammond organ and melodic vocals.
Their debut album, Broken Uncle’s Inn (2011), quickly gained international press attention and led the band to perform across several European countries.
The sophomore record Showdown (2013) took the band to the next level: its cover artwork was created by Storm Thorgerson (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin), and Classic Rock UK featured the single “Till It Bleeds as Track of the Month”. The album and its promotion brought wide press coverage in Europe and the US, establishing Voodoo Highway as one of the promising acts of the European hard rock scene.
In 2015 the band released the EP Pervert County, followed in 2017 by their third studio album The Ordeal, which received positive reviews and opened further touring opportunities. Around the same time, the late Craig Gruber (Rainbow, Elf, Black Sabbath) described Voodoo Highway as “the new Deep Purple”.
After a seven-year hiatus, the band reunited in June 2025 at the RockaFe Festival in Ferrara, recording the concert that has now been released as their first live album: Made in Kachot, released on October 24th, 2025.
In 2026 Voodoo Highway returned to the studio with producer Eddy Cavazza (Logan Mader, John Wetton, Fear Factory) and recording engineer Samuele Grandi to create their fourth studio album, The Satan Inqviesta, released worldwide on September 18, 2026, via Pride & Joy Music.
Recorded at Sonika Recording in Ferrara and produced, mixed and mastered by Eddy Cavazza at Silent Ghost, the album features nine original tracks, marking a new chapter for the band. Christian Bondandini developed the visual concept, cover artwork and booklet, giving the record its distinctive visual identity.
