Mostly Autumn guitarist Bryan Josh says: “We are very proud to announce that Mostly Autumn, as a four piece, have been invited and confirmed to be the support for Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow on June 25 at the Birmingham Genting Arena.
“Our most sincere and heartfelt thanks go to all in the Ritchie Blackmore camp for this incredible opportunity. As you may well know, Ritchie Blackmore has been a major influence on me ever since I was a child. In fact, one of the main reasons I picked up a guitar in the first place all those years ago. This will be very special for so many reasons.”
Mostly Autumn released an acoustic EP last year which was recorded on their support tour with Steve Hackett in 2014.
The cover artwork was created by famous Hungarian artist Gyula Havancsák (WISDOM, ANNIHILATOR, TYR, DESTRUCTION, ELVENKING,…).

Mastermind Smolski commented on it: “»Tsar« is the absolute best of and the highlight of my musical career. I had never had so much fun while producing a CD. Incredible teamwork – and one hundred per cent merciless. Push the pedal to the metal!”
After 15 years and 10 CDs as guitarist, producer and composer for the German heavy metal institution RAGE, Victor Smolski now continues his musical career with his new group ALMANAC; a new musical concept combining heavy metal with classical music, songs written especially for a band and orchestra plus several male and female singers sharing the lead vocal job. The Belarus-born guitarist Smolski is joined in this new group by former LMO band members Jeanette Marchewka (vocals) and the symphony orchestra Orquestra Barcelona Filharmonia. New in the line up are bass player Armin Alic, drummer Michael Kolar and keyboardist Enric Garcia. Two high-class singers David Readman (PINK CREAM 69) and Andy B. Franck (BRAINSTORM) complete the extremely prominent line up. For all the members of ALMANAC, »Tsar« is a new, exciting, and very interesting chapter. Traditional metal in conjunction with classical music, world music and elements of Russian folklore with a modern sound all make ALMANAC a compelling and absolute listening experience.

DEMONIC RESURRECTION frontman Demonstealer, who recently announced the release of his 2nd solo album “This Burden Of Mine” featuring George Kollias on drums, has released a new single from the album. A video has been released for the song ‘When The Hope Withers And Dies’ which also features a guest solo from DR axe-man Nishith Hegde and Ashwin Shriyan (also DR) on bass. You can see the video below.
Demonstealer commented ‘The idea was to do like a guitar and vocal play-through of the song but during the shoot it kind of morphed into a music video. It’s nothing fancy at all really.’
ZOAX have launched a video for their brand new track ‘The Bad Blood’, which is also the opening track of their upcoming self-titled album. The eagerly awaited debut will be released on May 13th, 2016 via Century Media Records.
Watch the video for ‘The Bad Blood’:
Vocalist and frontman Adam comments: “Since day 1, we have always set out to make this the opener for the album because it has an element of introducing each band member. But what really sold us was opening with a track that says the lyric ‘If there is a god, watching over us. Can someone tell him to, keep the bad blood’. It’s a big question that I would feel so many people ask themselves especially with the current state of everything in the world today. This track was one of the early ones that we finished, and afterwards we then realised that we have a lot more to say on this album than we initially thought.”
ZOAX – ‘ZOAX’ track-list:
01. The Bad Blood (3:13)
02. Devil Dance (3:02)
03. Roses All The Way (2:54)

ZOAX will be special guest to FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND on their ‘Last Chance To Dance’ final farewell tour starting later this month. FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND are playing one very last run of shows, performing the album ‘Hours’ one night and ‘Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation’ the following, night alongside songs from their other records and EP’s. The tour package also includes the US metalcore originators SHAI HULUD. See below for the exact dates!
Formed in 2013, London-based ZOAX are a band set on creating music that inspire themselves in a seemingly stale and incestuous gene-pool. Still retaining the heaviness of their peers whilst infusing a broad focus on groove and melody, the 5 piece have succeeded in moulding a sound that sets them apart from the monotony of the masses. Feb 2014 saw the band introduce themselves to the world with the debut EP, ‘XIII’. Wetting the palate of listeners, the release lead the band to its 2nd Download Festival performance and on to tours with Cancer Bats, Polar, Feed The Rhino. He Is Legend and Nothing More. Drawing from a wealth of live experience in previous bands such as Rise To Remain, Axewound, Burn Down Rome and Time Is A Thief, the young-group control a stage with the maturity and finesse of the old dogs. With a live show that combines neck-breaking ferocity with Dickensian charisma, ZOAX are quickly cementing themselves as a must-see live band.
