HUNTRESS are on the verge of releasing their third studio album “Static” on September 25th via Napalm Records. The powerful pentad’s first single ‘Flesh’ premieres today on REVOLVERMAG.COM with a stunning lyric video.
HUNTRESS vocalist comments:
“Flesh is catchy and hard rock, it’s lusty and bloody, a blackened-party metal make out song. When my bandmates brought me the killer composition, I wrote the lyrics as my storyline unfolded like bizarre film noir. A female serial killer who would transform into a demonic seamstress, preying upon women. She desires their flesh for fashion. Once again, I’ve collaborated with the immensely talented Vance Kelly to bring my story to life. Our telepathic artistic connection has created a twisted romantic lyric video for a summer of lust. Enjoy!”
The new HUNTRESS album “Static” will be released on September 25, 2015. The highly-anticipated record was produced by Paul Fig (Grammy nominated engineer, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Trivium, Ghost BC) and Jim Rota (Fireball Ministry, Emmy nominated Executive Producer of the Sonic Highways series, Producer Sound City Movie), Engineered and Mixed by Paul Fig.

ART OF ANARCHY – featuring the legendary vocalist, Scott Weiland, along with lead guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), bassist John Moyer (Disturbed) – have launched a new video for the track, ‘Time Every Time’. It comes off the group’s highly acclaimed debut, self-titled offering released through Another Century this past June.
Watch ‘Time Every Time’ here:
Bumblefoot states: “Dale ‘Rage’ Resteghini has an extensive list of metal videos that he directed. He knows how to capture energy and intensity in a live performance. We met years ago on the road with Guns and I’ve also been on set with him shooting one of his many hip-hop videos. He always has a great team and everyone gives it their all.”
He continues: “This is a straight-up ‘here we are doing what we do’ video. A band playing their song. Bright lights and silhouettes, everyone diggin’ in after a bunch of takes and knowing they got the shots they need. Some silliness starts to kick in when the camera’s facing the other way, as soon as the camera’s heading back it’s like the teacher turning toward you and you quickly hide the note you were passing in class, haha. But when the camera’s in your face you snap out of it quick and get real. It was an accomplishment making these videos and capturing what seems to be chapter one for the band. This is life – things don’t go as planned, it’s about picking yourself up and coming back stronger. That’ll be chapter two.”
The band started out of an 18-year friendship between Bumblefoot and the Votta brothers, dating back to the local New York music scene. Jon Votta approached Bumblefoot with the idea of putting together a unique new rock band that would have people talking. They knew Weiland would be the ideal singer to handle the band’s musical diversity. Once Weiland was on-board, the band was completed by the aggressive, precise, melodic bass of career-rocker John Moyer.
ART OF ANARCHY has emerged as a band willing to eradicate musical borders in pursuit of something brilliant. For these legendary members, it’s all about songwriting and musicianship, which the band proudly displays on its self-titled debut album. The band also sees Weiland returning to his hard rock roots with a harder-edged sound than any of his previous efforts.
