“We’re really happy to announce that we’re hitting road for 6 shows at the end off the year finishing of with a hometown show in Corby. we’ll be trying out some new tracks from our forth coming record and smashing out some banging old tracks too. Raging Speedhorn formed in 1998 and went on to release four records, the most successful being their second release “We Will Be Dead Tomorrow”, recorded by Billy Graziadei and Danny Schuler of Biohazard fame. The band achieved chart success with ‘The Gush’ in 2001, toured continuously with acts like Slipknot, Ill Nino, Rammstein and Will Haven, and performed at countless festivals across the globe, including main stage at the inaugural Download Festival in 2004. They split in 2008 following the release of their last record “Before The Sea Was Built” and a subsequent tour of Japan.

Together they are SOTO.
SOTO recently released a music video for the track ‘Break’, featured on the new album, Inside The Vertigo. The video, directed by Thiago Kiss, can be seen here:
Heavy metal is more than a genre, more than an attitude and certainly more than whatever cheap epithets are dismissively thrown at it by clueless critics. At its best, metal is a lifestyle, a community, a tribe uniting people across cultural, economic and philosophical divides with the primal pulse of bombastic and majestic expression.
Never before has one entity encapsulated so many components of the heavy metal community’s continued vibrancy and dedication to the lifestyle than the collective fittingly called METAL ALLEGIANCE.
METAL ALLEGIANCE will release their debut self-titled album on September 18th via Nuclear Blast, but until then, the collective is teasing fans with videos from their sessions in the studio. The third trailer is now online and covers the recording of the fourth track, ‘Dying Song’ (feat. Phil Anselmo (PANTERA, DOWN). Watch the clip here:
The release show for “METAL ALLEGIANCE” will take place at Best Buy Theater in New York City on September 17th, 2015.
The band’s forthcoming new album includes appearances by Philip H. Anselmo, Charlie Benante, Chuck Billy, Randy Blythe, Rex Brown, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Phil Demmel, Alissa White-Gluz, Matt Heafy, Gary Holt, Jamey Jasta, Chris Jericho, Andreas Kisser, Misha Mansoor, Mark Osegueda, Tim “Ripper” Owens, Doug Pinnick, Troy Sanders, Cristina Scabbia, Steve “Zetro“ Souza and Ben Weinman, in addition to Ellefson, Menghi, Portnoy and Skolnick.
The album contains nine original songs, with the digipak edition including a cover of ‘We Rock’ as a tribute to the late and great Ronnie James Dio.

Dave Wyndorf and his henchmen seemingly had the time of their lives when they completely rearranged and boosted “Last Patrol 2014” and christened it “Milking the Stars: A Re-imagining of Last Patrol”!
Now MONSTER MAGNET go back even further to 2010 and their “Mastermind” album. Even if you know the album inside and out you won`t be prepared in the slightest for the trip that is “Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux)”: just think of the beast Apocalypse Now turned into in its Redux form. Familiar elements drift by and are swallowed whole by thundering psych orgies – Wyndorf often focuses on a singular song fragment and turns it into his ride to total Nirvana. Go look for your daily dose of average rock elsewhere: this is the mindfuck of the year!
The first song from “Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux)”, ‘Mastermind ‘69’ is receiving its exclusive premiere courtesy of Brooklyn Vegan. Check out the song here.
Frontman Dave Wyndorf on the new album:
“Hey, hey! I’m pleased to announce the release of Cobras And Fire: The Mastermind Redux. It’s a re-imagining of material from 2010’s Mastermind album as an alternative listening experience that I think stands on its own. With Cobras And Fire I wanted to present these songs in a much stranger and dirtier atmosphere. Less “classic rock” and more…well, I’d guess I’d call it a deranged fusion of Garage-Psych, Fuzz Punk and Movie Soundtrack music. It’s almost completely re-recorded (with the bulk of the guitar and bass playing by co-producer Phil Caivano) and as in Milking The Stars I’ve added organ, piano, sitars and more to flesh out a completely new sound for these tunes. There’s also a Hawkwind/Pink Fairies inspired cover version of The Temptations 1969 classic “Ball Of Confusion” with background vocals by MONSTER MAGNET co-founder and Rib Eye Bros. frontman Tim Cronin. Plus an 8 minute, tripped out sonic adventure entitled “I Live Behind The Paradise Machine” specially created by mixer extraordinaire Evil Joe Barresi. Joe is at his best here, seamlessly integrating elements from several MAGNET songs into a new, stand alone composition. All in all I call this the weirdest MONSTER MAGNET yet, and that’s a good thing! I hope you like it! Rock on!”
“Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux)” will be released on Napalm Records October 9th.
The album is available for pre-order via the Napalm Records Webstore HERE!

The bostonglobe have reported that ‘Ghostbusters’ is filming a big concert scene at the Wang Theater next week, and the movie’s casting director is looking for extras. Billy Dowd Casting says it’s looking for people 35 and under — as well as older people who look like metal heads — to play the audience at a heavy metal concert in a scene that films from July 28 to 30. Dowd warns that the job doesn’t pay big bucks — but parking and lunch are included, and perhaps you’ll see some ghost-busting in action. To apply, send a clear and recent photo with your name, age, and number to heavymetalcasting2015@gmail.com.
The new movie is set for release on 29th July 2016.
