Thrash titans SLAYER recently announced their forthcoming twelfth studio album, “Repentless” with this video teaser:
The release will be their first for new record label home Nuclear Blast, and is set to hit the racks on September 11th.
“Repentless” will feature studio recordings from two ‘newcomers’ to the Slayer ranks: guitarist Gary Holt (Exodus) and former/returning Slayer sticksman, Paul Bostaph, following the untimely passing of co-founding guitarist, Jeff Hanneman and the departure of drummer Dave Lombardo in 2013.
The band announced today their return to the UK stages with support from labelmates and longtime friends, ANTHRAX, plus Norwegian noiseniks, KVELERTAK.
After The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman played a show with a broken finger, MACHINE HEAD frontman Robb Flynn joined the club of metal troopers by continuing to tour despite getting explosive diarrhea on the band’s current South American run, according to ultimate-guitar.com.
Keeping the level of metal at an all-time high, Robb is now spending the trek in adult diapers, still delivering explosive performances to raging crowds.
What Mr. Flynn caught is referred to as Montezuma’s revenge, or essentially a traveler’s diarrhea contracted by tourists visiting Mexico.
“That’s right, when you have explosive diarrhea, you got wear ADULT F–KING DIAPERS! UGH!! ???????????????????? #explosivediarrhea #f–kyoumontezumasrevenge #whothef–kismonetzuma #hersheysquirts #ifyourefeelinkindafunnybutitsreallythickandrunnydiarrhea,” he noted via Instagram.
And it was only a few weeks ago that Robb was forced to undergo an emergency gallbladder surgery and almost instantly hop onto a tour bus. As for the juicy bit, the diaper photo awaits below.

The cover’s sinister artwork depicts the reality of humanity’s beautifully disturbing existence and its impending death through the mortal and the everlasting. The background shows an ancient incantation written in Aramaic.

Guitarist/producer J- F Dagenais (MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) tracked drums, guitars and bass for “Of Ghosts And Gods”, while vocals were recorded by producer Mark Lewis (WHITE CHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, CANNIBAL CORPSE).
The entire process was mixed and mastered in the UK by legendary producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, AMON AMARTH).
Scandinavian metallers EVIL MASQUERADE have announced they will play their first UK show.
The band will be headlining the Breaking Bands Festival in Bromsgrove (close to Birmingham) together with Blaze Bayley, REIGN OF FURY and many more, on May 28th 2016. To see the full line-up, check the official festival website here.

Their critically acclaimed return with “Blood Of The Nations” in 2010 opened the Metal Sky for the German band ACCEPT – after a 15 year hiatus – with a Bang! They stayed on the move with a second album “Stalingrad” – in 2012 as always supported by a worldwide tour. 2014 they started with an impressive album release – “Blind Rage” – at the top of European charts and entries worldwide, gracing the rock magazines from around the globe from Sweden to South America, racing through Asia, Australia, Europe, North & South America – sold out shows as well as being part of the biggest International Music Festivals until December, that was BLIND RAGE Tour PART 1. April 2015 they continued with BLIND RAGE TOUR Part 2 which will end in Europe mid December.
The schedule has been pretty demanding and not everybody could stand the test of times…. poster child of fitness Wolf Hoffmann and his “ALTER EGO” Peter Baltes are pushing the envelope and have the greatest fun outdoing each other on stage – holding up the trademark of ACCEPT’s stage performance of mostly 2 hours: Fan, Power, Groove and Speed. Mark Tornillo can hold his own and is a formidable force on stage and very much loved by the fans.
Obviously, they do not slow down – the opposite. Wolf Hoffmann quote: “We need to let it all come out and time is the essence. We are happiest when we are on stage and what a nerve wrecking thrill it is to write a new album and jump on stage and perform it… We are on it again ….but – we will take our time. Fans know, they can count on us – we will deliver…. but no rush. We might tape our show at the Bang Your Head Festival in Germany and release that in between.”

Canadian powerhouse KATAKLYSM are set to release their twelfth studio album “Of Ghosts And Gods” on July 31st (Europe, UK, US) via Nuclear Blast Records.
Today, the band has announced the release of the new KATAKLYSM hot sauces “GHOST FIRE and “GOD’S FURY” together with the new album.
Mastermind Maurizio states:
