DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER has hit the charts again with their new double album ‘Tief.Tiefer.’ The album entered the German album charts at #22 and #72 in Switzerland.

Hull’s BLACK TONGUE have signed a worldwide deal with SOAR/Century Media Records.
Acknowledged as one of the fastest rising DIY acts on the UK Metal underground, the downtempo mob have exploded onto the scene with two crushingly heavy E.P.’s in the past year and a half.
Formed by members of modern Grind/Death Metal enigmas INFANT ANNIHILATOR, BLACK TONGUE have exploded onto the scene in the most bombastic of fashions after the release of their first EP ‘Falsifier’, which quickly established the band’s gruesome intentions and resulted and a online epidemic of new fans. Now already renowned as one of the most devastating live acts on the UK Underground, BLACK TONGUE deliver the sort of sonic barrage that is akin to receiving an acid tipped sledgehammer to the gut.

The band’s official statement for the signing was : “We are proud to have become part of such a strong UK label. Hopefully we can add an extra edge to their already powerful roster. Siege Of Amida have done so much for the UK scene- now the label has also merged with Century Media we can’t wait to see where this will take us on a worldwide level.”
The band’s debut full length is set for a tentative release of early 2015.

Legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth has made the following announcement regarding his appearance at the upcoming Guitar Gods tour:
“Official UJR announcement regarding the up-coming US GG-Tour with Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Hoey and Bumblefoot:
Unfortunately we are forced to cancel my participation in this tour due to unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control. We don’t know why, but work visas got mysteriously delayed for no apparent reason to the point where we were left with no other reasonable choice but to cancel at this late stage. In over 30 years of obtaining US visas this has never happened to me, but I guess there’s always a first.
I would have loved to play for the North-American audience on this tour, like so many times before, but I’m sure my three guitar-playing friends will be just fine without me and will more than make up for it with their considerable skills. I’m wishing them best luck and lots of inspiration!!!”

Grammy-nominated blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa has today announced that his brand new solo album “Different Shades Of Blue” will be released on Monday September 22nd (Mascot / Provogue).
“Different Shades Of Blue” is Bonamassa’s first solo studio album since 2012’s “Driving Towards The Daylight”, which debuted at #2 on the Official UK Album Chart. It is also his first album to feature all-original material, penned by the man himself.
The resulting album is Bonamassa’s most accomplished work to date, It’s a blues record that explores the outer reaches and the many different sounds that shape the genre.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been involved in the writing on an entire album, “ says Bonamassa. “So I decided I wanted to make a completely original blues album. I’ve really had to push myself to make everything I do better than the last project. I know the fans expect it. And I feel like I owe it to the fans to give them an original record after all these years.”
News of the album comes ahead of Bonamassa’s appearances at this weekend’s Download Festival, and at London’s Calling Festival on June 28th, where he plays as main-support to AEROSMITH.
