HELL have posted a message for fans via their official Facebook page:
“Would USA and Canadian fans please note that we are NOT playing New York, Chicago, Phoenix or Baltimore this coming July. The Bandsintown app wrongly posted this information to our bandpage – there is apparently a doom metal band from Salem who share our name and who are touring with a band called Ash Borer – this is what these dates are about. Sorry for the disappointment \m/“
But the metallers will be playing this years Wacken Open Air on Friday 1st August. Prior to that on Wednesday 2nd July, HELL will playa one off warm up show, with support from BEHOLDER, as the following weekend they’re locking horns with SABBATH and others at Hyde Park.

ORPHANED LAND, one of Israel’s most successful musical exports, have been voted by readers of Metal Hammer UK as the Global Metal Band of the Year at the Golden God Awards 2014. True to form, Orphaned Land have requested that they accept their award jointly with their Palestinian friends and recent tour mates Khalas. Taking place at the indigO2 on the 16th June in London, ORPHANED LAND are receiving the award in recognition of their immense cultural and musical impact throughout the region and indeed the world. Orphaned Land and Khalas have had a long relationship and share a passion to promote the possibility of a peaceful resolution in the Middle East.
Kobi Farhi, founder and lead singer of Orphaned Land, says, “I wish to thank Metal Hammer and all the readers that voted for Orphaned Land. For the last 23 years with Orphaned Land I can proudly say that Metal music has succeeded to teach politicians a lesson of how easy this might be if you only want it. Abed from Khalas is my brother, both historically and at present. I thought to share the award with him because this is what brothers do: they share. Music, food, home and awards. Peace.”
Furthermore ORPHANED LAND will appear at Gelsenkirchen Amphitheater, playing at Germany’s Rock Hard Festival on Sunday, June 8th. The show will be streamed live online via the WDR Rockpalast at 2:05pm CET (ORPHANED LAND stage time) here: http://www.wdr.de/tv/rockpalast/
