Finland’s industrial metal heretics KING SATAN have officially inked a worldwide record deal with Noble Demon, who will release the band’s highly anticipated fourth album, “The Devil’s Evangelion”, in late 2024. To kick off the excitement surrounding the upcoming release, the band has unleashed a music video for the first single, “New Aeon Gospel”.
”’The Devil’s Evangelion’ will be a concept album concentrating on the duality and the paradoxical nature of reality. This concept stems from a trickster-like narrative that becomes convinced about being possessed by the Devil, leading to an experience of reality through the Devil’s eyes.” KING SATAN comment and further reveal details about the first single: “New Aeon Gospel as an opening song depicts beginning of this experience, which in the fashion of paradoxes, might be madness to one and yet moment of catharsis to another. We took a lot influences from old religious anthems, hymns and psalms to compose the album and this song might be one of the strongest examples of this, filtered of course through the means of our brand of extreme metal.”
KING SATAN presents a genre-fluid extreme metal spectacle that fuses electro-industrial, symphonic black metal, and death metal elements with the raw energy of rock’n’roll, emerging as a unique blend between shameless shock rock and chaotic avant-garde theater.
Founded in late 2015, this genre-fluid group is the brainchild of enigmatic artist Mr. King Aleister Satan (Henget, Saturnian Mist), which has evolved from its electro-aggrotech origins into a full-throttle industrial metal band over the years. The act’s vision of extreme metal brings forth an anarchistic blend of carnivalesque artistry, absurdist dark comedy, occult intrigue, and in-depth philosophical ponderings, served in an intoxicating blend of rocking dance beats, thought-provoking lyrics, mesmerizing melodies, and addictive hooks the band themselves have titled as ‘death metal disco’. A fusion fit for both dance floors and mosh pits. With all these elements, the band defies conventions and embraces controversy the way which should not really make much sense on paper – and yet, it has consistently helped to create more and more buzz for the band wherever they go.
But KING SATAN is more than just a mere musical entity; Known for their infectious charisma and captivating performances, it’s a live experience that electrifies stages and captivates audiences. With a reputation solidified by three full-length albums and viral chart-climbing singles in Finland and Germany, they’ve graced renowned festivals like Tuska Festival, Nummirock Metal Festival and Dark Malta Festival. The group has also toured in Europe in several countries, headlining their own shows and supporting revered acts like Gothminister, Deathstars, Battle Beast, Hocico, Nachtmahr, and Turmion Kätilöt on the way.
Mr. King Aleister Satan about the band’s future and signing to Noble Demon: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce this devilish pact between King Satan and Noble Demon Records! We really know we are now in the right home at Noble Demon roster as we are not only encouraged to do what we do already, but to do that with their full support! Even it might get dirty! And of course, in the world of absurd, it always does. So, indeed, let’s get dirty! The Devil’s work is never done! Hail Noble Demon Records and Hail Satan! Chaos is the Law!”
So stay tuned for more infos and tunes to follow in the weeks ahead and make sure to follow the band online!

This year, under the gaze of the waxing moon, HEILUNG cast their spell upon the sacred gathering of Download Festival, with Glastonbury soon to follow at the end of June. With the earth beneath their feet bearing witness, they invoked their mighty rituals, transcending the confines of time, leading the amassed souls to a place where the ancient North breathes.
HEILUNG, keepers of amplified history and weavers of neofolk chants, proclaim a sacred pilgrimage to the ancient lands of Albion (UK) and Eiru (Ireland), summoning kin and kindred souls to join in a celebration of our collective ancestry.
“We are currently in Great Britain in between the two rituals of Download and Glastonbury Festival. Download was epic and we were blessed with clear skies in the midst of heavy rains. It felt wonderful to connect with so many new, engaged spirits.
With this momentum, we are happy to announce that we will return to the UK and Ireland in the beginning of 2025. This journey will bring us to London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester.”
Albion ok Eiru færdhask 2025 Dates: 15th April: London, UK @ O2 Brixton Academy 17th April: Dublin, IE @ 3Arena 19th April: Edinburgh, UK @ O2 Academy 21st April: Manchester, UK @ O2 Apollo
HEILUNG don’t play shows. They perform a ritual. Every performance begins with Kai Uwe Faust leading Christopher Juul, Maria Franz and the rest of the Nordic collective in an ancient prayer. Soon after, the audience is swept into rapture, swayed by incense and throat singing, primordial rhythms, subtle electronic textures, a mesmerizing light show, an army of warriors and bursts of fire.
Since they began in 2015, Heilung have been paving melodic paths to the past with their unique and mystifying sound. Evading all conventional genre tags and the confines of any specific labels, the group aptly self-describes their sound as “amplified history,” emphasizing their ability to connect modern society with the rudiments of humanity’s beginnings through music.
“Our ancestral Nordic civilizations did not just pop up, exist and disappear in isolation”, says Faust, a throat singer and one of Heilung’s three composers. “With singing these primordial songs we want to give tribute to these cultures, reconnect to the beginnings and remember that we all, from East to West, from past to present, are connected through the exchange of ideas and inspiring each other”.
While Heilung features authentic and archaic instrumentation that ranges from rattles and ritual bells to human bones and throat singing, their captivating brand of music is far from primitive. Producer and founding member Christopher Juul implements subtle electronic elements that elevates the musical atmosphere and provides a more in-depth and layered soundscape.
Indeed, Heilung’s success has been unprecedented, achieving milestones in its few short years of existence that many do not see in a lifetime. The collective already had rapidly been growing a buzz upon the self-release of their first full-length Ofnir in 2015, but their dizzying upward trajectory really took off from the moment they set foot on the stage at Castlefest in 2017 for the now-legendary debut of their live ritual. Luckily for those who were not fortunate enough to bare witness to this magical event, the full ceremony was captured on film, having since been viewed by tens of millions of fans across the globe.
As Heilung trekked across Europe and brought their mystifying experience to new audiences, talk of this new band and their stunning ceremony made way to Season of Mist label owner Michael Berberian, who quickly offered the band a record contract after seeing their undeniable musical impact for himself.
By 2019, Heilung launched their second full-length record, Futha, which contrasted the masculine and battle-heavy themes of their debut with a feminine counterpart that celebrated fertility and female energy. Upon the first week of the record’s release, it graced the Billboard charts with coveted numbers, debuting at #3 on the Heatseekers Charts and #4 on the Billboard World Music Chart, placing on a total of seven Billboard charts while meeting critical-acclaim from the press on a global scale.
Their music has even appeared in places that extend far beyond typical concert venues. From hit television series like Game of Thrones and Vikings to video game giants like Conqueror’s Blade VII: “Wolves of Ragnarök and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II to the blockbuster Robert Eggers film The Northman, Heilung’s music has risen far above the underground and has transcended into a greater world. Even a global pandemic couldn’t slow down Heilung’s success; it only strengthened them and gave them the gift of time to complete work on their third album. In English, Drif translates as “Gathering”. The music embodies this philosophy by tying together the beginning of civilization with today’s modern society.
Heilung now perform their rituals all over the world. They sold out their first North American tour in 72 hours. Upon returning to the United States in 2021, they were greeted by another sold-out crowd, this time at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. This performance will be released on vinyl, CD and Blu-Ray in 2024, along with another performance at the Apollo Theatre in Hammersmith, London.
During the lead-up to the new LIFAs, Heilung will embark on headlining tours of Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Along the way, they will cast their spell over more of the world’s biggest stages, including Roskilde Festival, Download Festival and Glastonbury. But no matter where they are, Heilung always begin their performance with a humbling reminder of where we all come from.
“Remember, we are all brothers. All people, beasts, tree and stone and wind, we all descend from the one great being that was always there, before people lived and named it, before the first seed sprouted.”
Line-up: Kai Uwe Faust Christopher Juul Maria Franz
Blitzkrieg, the legendary NWOBHM band that was pivotal to the movement back in the early 80s, will release a new studio album this year, in September. The album, which will feature ten tracks, is fully recorded and will be available via Mighty Music.

In a world that seems to be spiraling out of control, Kurt Deimer is a man with a very clear mission: Work Hard, Rock Hard, Play hard and Spread positivity. In fact, his mantra could be summed up: “Take the high road, do the right thing, encourage others.” It sounds like a tall order these days in a world full of warring factions. And it’s an unusual mission for a singer/songwriter vocalist whose music could be described as hard rock, even heavy metal – genres that are not always synonymous with positivity.
Deimer, for his part, describes his work as good old fashioned rock and roll. “And it’s as good a vehicle as any for spreading good vibes” he says. “I’m here to encourage others to treat people with respect, dignity and kindness,” he says. “I’ve been through a lot of things in my life and I try to share that with others and be a beacon of hope for my listeners.”
That positivity and perseverance has paid off for the native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He’s not only launched a movie franchise, Hellbilly Hollow, by filming and starring in a feature length horror film of the same name. He’s also recorded more than two dozen songs with legendary producer Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, James Brown and the Rolling Stones), his management team includes Brian Wheat, manager of TESLA who discovered him while opening for TESLA.
Chris Lord-Alge says he was drawn to Kurt’s originality as an artist. “I saw something completely different in Kurt, and that was the lure for me. He isn’t a typical rock or country artist – I love hearing him talk and narrating a story, and I was drawn to taking those stories and helping turn them into music. He’s a personality, he’s someone you want to talk to.”
Things have not always been positive in Deimer’s world. At age 20, as a young rock vocalist, he found himself in the grips of drug addiction. He later discovered he was using substances to medicate an underlying anxiety condition. At that young age, he quit drugs, got help for his anxiety and never looked back.
He eventually started buying and selling rental properties and used that money to start the first of several successful companies he owns. Despite making his mark in the business world, Deimer didn’t feel ready to settle down and “join the country club and play golf all day” – so at an age when most people start thinking about slowing down, he started to speed up.
Inspired by the artists that helped shape him – Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Marley and AC/DC, to name just a few – he started writing song lyrics.
Inspired by his love of movies and acting roles in films including the 2018 ‘Halloween’ remake – where his character was killed by Michael Myers – and John Travolta’s ‘Trading Paint,’ he started hashing out a movie concept that became his eventual Hellbilly Hollow feature film and franchise.
Deimer has supported Geoff Tate on an expansive cross-country tour that highlighted material from his debut EP, that came out on November 19, 2021, which includes a duet with Tate and a trilogy of music videos directed by Scottish filmmaker Paul Boyd [Sting, Deadmau5, The Cult] that spotlight Deimer’s cinematic vision and charismatic presence. Along with many other supporting shows including TESLA, Drowning Pool and Yngwie Malmsteen all this within the first two years of touring.
For Deimer, the inspiration is to make the world a better place one song at a time, singing about the ills of the 21st century and offering solutions instead of excuses. “When people listen to my music, I want to help them decompress and feel better after a brutal day. That’s what music always did for me, and that’s what we need more of today.”
VCS (AKA Violates Community Standards) releases “This Is The Line”, a punk-metal fusion album that combines textures from influences such as Bad Religion Pennywise, DI, Metallica, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden with a modern twist. With twelve standout tracks in the album, producer Dan Banura and VCS create a whole new soundscape of fast, aggressive riffing, dynamic song structures, and catchy vocal melodies that audiences know them for, into a style that feels brand new yet still familiar. Standout tracks such as “Without Masters”, “Internal Sovereignty”, and “The Real Plague” discuss the nature of modern society and the enslavement people face by institutions, often without knowing it. With booming vocals from Bryan Hoxsey, and heavy-hitting guitar from Josh Torres, the group gives audiences a mind-bending journey through metal and punk that provides unique insight into the human experience.Known for bringing a potent blend of old-school hardcore punk, skatepunk, and crossover thrash, VCS demonstrates a unique edge and ability to combine elements from punk and metal genres, with their own distinct sound and message.
Listen to the album “This is The Line” on Spotify:
Lyrics like “We band together, fervent minds that are awake, lighting the way, the task we’re meant to undertake. Our understanding forms a sacred bond we cannot break, holding our ground because we know what is at stake. Within the darkness be the light, a guiding shine, unflinching we step up to fight, this is the line,” audiences are given a chance to peer into the group’s mindset on the state of modern society, and what is to come for the future.
VCS has been compared to 88 Fingers Louie, No Use For A Name, early Anthrax, Armored Saint, and even Bad Religion meets Metallica. Though they tend to categorize themselves as a punk-rock band, their audience definitely picks up on their metal influences such as Misfits, Lagwagon, Megadeth, Agent Orange, Slayer, DRI, Suicidal Tendencies, Adolescents, Sepultura, Black Sabbath, Pantera, DI, Iron Maiden, Minor Threat, and many more.
“The most important thing about this band is that our message is just as important to us as our music. Our goal is to wake up as many people as we can to the fact that this world, this system, is not what it seems. It is an artificial construct designed to keep us covertly enslaved. We want to make people understand that the concept of authority itself is morally illegitimate, that we can govern our own affairs, and that we don’t need “masters” or leaders in order to peacefully coexist on this planet. The way to do this is to make people aware of how the global
systems of power operate, how reality itself works, and how our inner selves work. We all need to do the internal work of healing ourselves and informing ourselves, and we hope to help people do this.” -Bryan Hoxsey, lead vocalist for VCS
Recent shows for the group included Rok House in Upland, CA alongside The Dickies, No Consent, and Since We Were Kids on June 1st. VCS is taking the rest of June off from playing live to start writing their next album and create more content, but will continue playing more live shows in July including at Solaris Brewing in Murrieta, CA w/ Guttermouth & Venomous Pinks on July 11th.
Stay tuned to hear what comes next!
About VCS
VCS plays a potent blend of old-school hardcore punk, skatepunk & crossover thrash. The band fuses all the elements they love from both punk and metal – fast, aggressive riffing; dynamic song structures; catchy vocal melodies – into a fresh yet familiar style.
Consisting of guitarist Josh Torres, drummer Chris Steik, bassist Rick Pinto and vocalist Bryan Hoxsey, VCS collectively has decades of experience playing in Southern California punk, metal and rock bands. Comparable to 88 Fingers Louie, No Use For A Name, early Anthrax,
Armored Saint, and even Bad Religion meets Metallica, VCS uses the knowledge gained through the school of hard knocks to craft some of the best songs they’ve ever written.
Although VCS is an acronym for Violates Community Standards, the name shouldn’t be misconstrued as an attack on all communities. The community standards that VCS opposes are the standards set by a psychopathic establishment that clearly doesn’t have the best interests of the people at heart. Those of the hypnotized masses who still get their “news” from the corporate media, the misguided mob that cheers when dissenting voices are crushed, the fools who believe that the government can and should make all decisions for the people because the people can’t govern themselves. The standards set by that community should be violated, because they are counter to everything that freedom-loving people cherish.
VCS actually seeks to form its own community, a community for the awakened, the outcasts and rebels, those who reject authoritarianism and embrace human freedom, the small but ever-growing minority with a strong moral compass and a clear set of principles that are never to be compromised.
