BraveWords Records recording artists LILLIAN AXE release the music video for the track No Problem from their album From Womb To Tomb.
“No Problem” was written as a lullaby from Steve Blaze to his son. Letting him know, even when one day, he is gone, he will always be with him. It has transcended into a greater message to all, that after their passing our loved ones are watching over and will see us again.
Lillian Axe is a million-selling dramatic hard rock band orchestrating a comeback with their latest album “From Womb To Tomb” and extensive tour dates which included their return to Europe for the first time in years. The album reached number 28 on the Billboard on the Hard Rock Album chart and has been touted as the band’s magnum opus. In 2010, they became the first-ever hard rock act inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. In November, 2021, Steve Blaze was inducted for the second time for his individual accomplishments as a guitarist and songwriter, which include multiple TV and film soundtracks and appearances, sessions for major artists, and nine years as guitarist for legendary rockers Angel. In 2017, Lillian Axe was awarded the Jackson Indie Music Ikon Award for their musical contribution to the Mississippi music scene for the last 30 years. Since releasing their debut album in 1988, the band has toured with icons such as Alice Cooper, RATT, Accept and many others, as well as rocking hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide at major festivals such as Sweden Rock, Firefest, M3 and Rocklahoma.
After Danish hard rock act, D-A-D, has announced their brand new album, entitled ’Speed Of Darkness’, and following not one but two, previously-released singles ’The Ghost’ and ’1st, 2nd & 3rd’, the band is now premiering a lyric video for ‘The Ghost’! The clip is streaming below.
The band’s thirteenth album ’Speed Of Darkness’ isslated for release on October 4, 2024 via AFM Records. In support of it,D-A-D just recently played a secret show at Sweden Rock Festival in the Pistonhead tent. The band was set up in a boxing-ring in the tent and the set up was draped. When The Rock Klassiker All-Stars ended their set in the tent, D-A-D was revealed in the ring and played a 25 mins set including the two new songs. The album pre-sale kicked of at Sweden Rock, and is now available here: https://shop.afm-records.de/d-a-d/
D-A-D‘s forthcoming album, ’Speed Of Darkness’, was mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Powerwolf). Drummer Laust Sonne says ”Jacob Hansen is really good at producing drum sounds, and he has a recording room designed for drums. There are not a lot of studios like that left out there, as most of it is done on computers in peoples’ living rooms these days. It is hard for drummers like me, who hit hard and make a lot of cymbal noise, to find studio people trained for it, but Jacob is one of them. The more I let loose, the better I sounded, so that was really awesome.”
Teaming up with producer Nick Foss once again, Jacob Binzer reveals: ”He says that this is the strongest pool of songs in a long time, and he has, after all, been in the game since 1988.” He adds that he agrees with the producer: ”Although you can’t really judge albums before one to two years after their release, I also think that this is a strong pool. Some of these songs have surprised me positively while we recorded them, and that is very promising.”
Jesper Binzer agrees with his brother: ”For the first time in three to four albums, I am totally excited about our material, and I look forward to going into the studio every single day. We have an excess of both songs and ideas, and this is a place that I have wanted to reach with the last three to four D-A-D albums. It’s crazy how things are circular that way. I thought that everything was done, and I thought that we were just old guys who were doing whatever we could, but a new necessity has arisen,” he feels and adds that cooperation is the operative word:
About their latest single release, the band wrote: ”‘The Ghost’ is an epic banger that shines a light both behind and ahead. There is a Scandinavian melancholy in our universe. A song about separated love, loss and hope in a fragmented time. About holding on to something that may come, or which may already have disappeared.”
While D-A-D are currently gearing up for their new record release with many more updates to be revealed soon, the bandkickstarted a major festival summer tour with 24 concerts. Following this run, they will play 16 concerts in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Switzerland as well as a completely sold-out show inRoyal Arena in Denmark on November 1. Strap in and slap on your war paint, ’cause EIHWAR are announcing their debut album Viking War Trance with its thumping and hypnotic first single. On “Völva’s Chant”, these neo-pagan warriors build a bridge between nordic folk and electronic music.
Watch below the cinematic, headbanging video for “Völva’s Chant”.
Emerging straight out of the mystic fogs of yore, “Völva’s Chant” is Eihwar’s first war cry from the mayhem-soaked Viking War Trance. Inspired by ancient Nordic witchy-women and the potent magic of seiðr, the duo’s new single cranks the chaos to eleven and bludgeons you lovingly with otherworldly trance vibes and pounding technoid beats.
Tracklist 1. Viking War Trance (4:30) 2. Ragnarök (Viking War Trance Reforged) (7:10) 3. Völva’s Chant (4:05) [WATCH] 4. Geri And Freki (4:21) 5. Baldr (4:08) 6. Fenrir (Viking War Trance Reforged) (5:13) 7. Berserkr (Viking War Trance Reforged) (4:04) 8. Mjölnir (5:25) 9. Sir Mannelig (1:54) Total runtime: 40:54
Many bands have explored the Pagan & Norse worlds over the last 15 years seeking atmospheric, acoustic and ritual sounds with great seriousness. This is not the path EIHWAR chose.
Although the musicians of Eihwar are virtuosos in their acoustic traditional instruments, their goal is to bring some fun… and as much chaos as possible during their concerts, provoking the craziest trance on dancefloors. They bring a festive and furious neo-viking music whose primal force is based on technoid machines, mixed with trance vocals, shamanic drums and traditional Nordic sounds. Electronics are a ‘new steel’ for those modern warriors, cold and powerful. As the web already says, the duo is a kind of new ‘Viking Carpenter Brut’.
Thus, Eihwar named the single, the album but also their style of music, Viking War Trance.
“We are heavy drops of rain announcing lightning. We call for war: A war waged against our judgments, Our inner demons, our limits, Our stiffness of body and mind. We don’t want our best enemies to spare us Nor to be spared by those we love. We invoke a war for our thoughts, A flamboyant chaos of fire & ice, Cradle of creation.”
Since its appearance on YouTube in February 2023, Eihwar has shook the Internet and concert venues. The band experienced rapid expansion on YouTube and was quickly booked by major European festivals such as Hellfest, Leyendas del Rock, Wave Gotik Treffen & more to be announced!

Sweden-borne progressive metal outfit Allt are back with new music and proudly present their new single, Remnant. The track is a heavy-laden mélange of melancholic vocals, haunting riffs, sublime noise effects and Allt’s signature sound.
The band adds about their new single: “’Remnant’ is a deeply personal and thematic track, even by our standards. It marks the beginning of a new narrative that we’re eager to unveil. In writing this song, we aimed to capture the essence of radioactivity and otherworldly forces. The track is profoundly human, yet it possesses an unmistakable alien quality. It is as melancholy as it is heavy—a tale of human frailty and survival.”
Remnant comes with a with a haunting music video by Riivata Visuals, who have already produced the last two music videos for Allt’s most recent singles, Emanateand The Orphan Breed.
Riivata Visuals share about the video production: “Working with Allt barely feels like work because we love it so much. Our visual and their musical styles are a match made in heaven. We met up in Helsinki earlier this year to shoot the music video for ‘Remnant’ at Valofirma Studios. The theme is quite post-apocalyptic so we had some fun with old clothes and scissors, and got the band looking like a proper group of scavengers. We thoroughly enjoyed the making of this video and we can’t wait for many more to come!”
