According to Nuclear Blast, EDGUY have sneaked into the studio to record the follow up to their chart breaking 2011 album “Age Of The Joker” (a.o. #3 in Germany).
The band has issued the following brief statement from the studio:
“We have focused on what makes this band unique and recorded what we believe is going to be the strongest & heaviest album this band has ever recorded. We didn’t waste any time with updates or distractions. There is no doubt, that this album is going to be the album we’ll be measured against in the future. And it makes us proud to say that as a band that has been existing for over 22 years now, fully aware that the best is yet to come.“
The album is in the mixing process right now and will be out in April. More details will be revealed soon.
Swedish Heavy Metal band SABATON are going to release their new album “Heroes” on the 16th of May via Nuclear Blast. The band has recently unveiled an additional cover artwork for the album.
“Hi everyone, and many thanks for the huge response on our new album artwork made by Peter Sallai. Just like »Carolus Rex« and »Swedish Empire Live« our new album »Heroes« will have an alternate artwork for some editions. Here it is, what do you think?” The band commented.
“Heroes” recorded at Abyss Studio, along with producer Peter Tägtgren (AMORPHIS, CHILDREN OF BODOM and more), with whom SABATON already worked on “Carolus Rex”.
“He still has some aces in his sleeves that we are sure will lift the new album”, says bass player Pär Sundström.

Hampshire metallers, BURY TOMORROW, are now streaming their brand new track, ‘Watcher’ which is taken from their forthcoming third album, entitled ‘Runes’, set to be released on May 30th, 2014 on Nuclear Blast Records.
“We felt this song gave the best representation of the sound we have gone for with Runes. Watcher shows our heavy and melodic side really well and we were stoked to show the world some new riffs,” says frontman, Daniel Winter-Bates. “The response so far has been beyond our expectations, people seem to have completely got what we were going for musically and lyrically. We can’t wait to release an official single but for now this is a little taster. Runes is the album we have always wanted to make and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it. Progressing from (2012’s) ‘Union of Crowns’, we’ve tried to capture our favourite era of metalcore whilst blending the nuances of what make the genre so great today. It’s a faster, more aggressive album, but it still sounds like us, we couldn’t be prouder of it!”
The band can also reveal a tour of intiminate venues around the UK in support of the album’s release.

Legendary German singer Doro Pesch is a huge boxing fan and best friend of female boxing legend Regina Halmich. On countless world championships, she was thrilled in the front row and was even standing in the ring herself, 2002 during the celebrity-boxing.
According to Nuclear Blast, Doro Pesch will perform the march-in hymn for WBO title holder Marco Huck, on his rematch againstchallenger Firat Arslan.
“I am so much looking forward to perform my hit single „Raise Your Fist In The Air“, as a march-in hymn for world champion Marco Huck, as I am huge fan of boxing since my childhood. I saw many fights live, mostly of my good friend Regina Halmich, for who I was playing few times in the ring. „Raise Your Fist In The Air“ is the perfect song for a boxing fight, as it is about the fighting spirit, power and fists” commented DORO.
The fight is taking place at the Hans-Martin-Schleyer Halle in Stuttgart. It will be broadcasted live on German national TV channel ARD – as well as in 60 countries worldwide. DORO will perform live approx. at 23.00 CET.
