ABORTED: Get The FREE iPhone App!

Belgian grincore metallers ABORTED has recently released their first iPhone app. which was developed for the band by the Avernus Studios! With this app you can check the latest news and tour dates, listen to ABORTED songs and watch their videos. The ABORTED’s first iPhone app available on the Apple AppStore.

 

As previously posted, ABORTEDare going to release their new album,”Global Flatline”, on January 23rd in Europe and January 24th in North America. The album Recorded, mixed, and mastered by the renowned Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, PESTILENCE, HATESPHERE) at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark and features several guest vocalists, including Trevor Strnad (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER), Julien Truchan (BENIGHTED), Jason Netherton (MISERY INDEX), and Keiijo Niinima (ROTTEN SOUND).

A new song, “Fight Night” from legendary British Rocker UFO‘s upcoming album, “Seven Deadly Sins” posted on guitarworld.com.

UFO‘s new album will be released on 24th Feb 2012 in Germany, 27th Feb 2012 in the rest of Europe, 28th Feb 2012 in the USA and Canada. Check that artwork and tracklisting for this album below.

Storm Thorgerson’s PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH Art To Be Exhibited In Cape Town

According to Bizcommunity.com, a selection of legendary artist Storm Thorgerson’s fine art prints will be shown at The Raging Storm exhibition opposite Church Square in Cape Town, South Africa from Monday, February 20th to Saturday, March 10th.

The signed and numbered works include the album art of PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, ANTHRAX, ALAN PARSONS and PETER GABRIEL. Gallery hours are all day Monday to Saturday from 8.30am.

A feature-length documentary film Taken By Storm will be shown, followed by an intimate Q & A session with Storm Thorgerson on Wednesday, 22 February at 6.30pm and Thursday, 23 and Friday, February 24 at 8pm.

BLAZE BAYLEY: All Metalheads Are True Kings Of Metal, New Audio Interview Available

As previously posted, BLACKDIAMOND of  Metal Shock Finland has recently conducted an exclusive interview with legendary singer BLAZE BAYLEY (WOLFSBANE, ex-IRON MAIDEN) during the recording of new material in a studio in Italy.

When discussing the recording of the album Blaze said “I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the studio, I don’t feel it’s a very creative environment. I like to spend most of my time on an album in the writing process and the composing. I feel that’s the bit that really counts.
I’m always thinking of the audience, the fans and how I’m going to perform the songs live.”

When asked if Blaze could give any ideas what the new album will sound like he said: “It’ll be a bit different to what I’ve done before because I’m producing it. There will be a lot of heavy metal as you would expect from a Blaze Bayley album.
We decided to have no rules, if we feel something is appropriate to sing or play, we will, it’s all about the vibe and passion.
I’m very hopeful it will turn out to be my best work.”

And also Blaze mentioned all his fans and Metalheads around the world as the true Kings of Metal.

FUELED BY FIRE: To Release Album “Plunging Into Darkness“ In Europe In April

NOISEART RECORDS has annouced that Californian Thrashers FUELED BY FIRE are going to release theirnew album “Plunging Into Darkness” officially in Europe on April 27.

The album will contain an exclusive bonus track for Europe called „Deadly Restraints“, the album will be available as gatefold vinyl, CD and download!

“We wanted to take our music a step further and make it darker, heavier, and much more aggressive! We wanted to show that we are maturing as musicians and song writers. We took many different influences into account when writing this album ranging from early thrash metal and early death metal. and really just tried making it into a solid thrash metal album!” Band posted, and also they added”Sup maniax! Were happy to say! We have finished recording the new song! Were very happy with the way it came out! And were positive your metal maniax are going to bang your head to it! This song is fuckin Fast! Heavy! Technical thrash metal all rolled into one!!”

BONFIRE: To Release An EP Against Animal Torture, Co-operating With PETA

RocketQueen has announced that legendary German Rockers, BONFIRE joined  forces with PETA (the biggest company of Animal Liberation in the world) and they are going to release an EP and Video of their song “Cry4help” and also this EP will include unreleased Bonfire-Bonus Tracks.The release of the CD will be in the middle of march 2012.
