SCARLET AURA, known as “the angels of Romanian rock,” continues the tradition of bringing holiday joy through music by releasing their fifth Christmas single, titled âHappy XMas (War Is Over),â on December 6th. Inspired by the classic song by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Scarlet Auraâs reinterpretation delivers a powerful message of peace and unity, dedicated to families and loved ones.
The single is accompanied by an emotional music video that keeps the theme of family and the Christmas spirit alive, prominently featuring little Sofia, who has become a symbolic presence in these special moments for the band.
âHappy XMas (War Is Over)â marks the fifth consecutive year in which Scarlet Aura releases a Christmas single, a much-anticipated tradition by fans that reflects the bandâs values and passion for bringing hope and light into peopleâs hearts through music.
To celebrate properly, Scarlet Aura will hold a special Christmas concert on December 7th at The Pub UniversitÄÈii (https://www.facebook.com/events/575610131673557/) , starting at 7:00 PM. Fans are invited to join a magical evening filled with energy, live music, and memorable moments, where they will hear the new single for the first time along with many of the bandâs hits.
âFor us, Christmas is about family, love, and hope. Every year, we aim to bring these feelings into our fansâ hearts through music, and in a year when the world needs unity more than ever, âHappy XMas (War Is Over)â is our way of delivering this message,â said Aura DÄnciulescu, the bandâs lead singer.
Donât miss the release of the single on December 6th and the special Christmas concert on December 7th at The Pub UniversitÄÈii! Happy holidays to the rhythm of Scarlet Auraâs music!
Zombie metal band DOMINUM unveil their new single, âWe Are Forlornâ, offering the next taste of their upcoming second album, The Dead Don’t Die, out December 27, 2024 via Napalm Records! The albumâs massive opening track invites the listener on a dark and dramatic journey, underlining the heavier metal influences that Dr. Dead and his Zombies introduce on their second full-length – contributing to an even more bombastic and darker sound than on their debut.
âWe Are Forlornâ sets the perfect tone for a sinister atmosphere to run shivers down oneâs spine. It’s accented by trenchant riffing, thundering drums and a matchless vocal performance by Dr. Dead. Together with a visually palpable official music video, âWe Are Forlornâ marks a standout offering, yet only a preview for whatâs to come when DOMINUM evoke the zombie apocalypse at the end of the year with The Dead Don’t Die!
Dr. Dead on the new single âWe Are Forlornâ: âSomething wicked has awakened. My zombies are more dangerous, more terrifying, and filled with new power. But their transformation didnât come easily â under the cloak of midnight, in a secret graveyard, a ritual of shadows took place. A single touch of the secret elixir, and they buried themselves anew… What happened next? Youâll have to see it for yourself. âWe Are Forlornâ! A name that echoes darkness, but at its heart, itâs about standing together. âWe Are Forlornâ – yet we rise united.
DOMINUM on the upcoming album The Dead Donât Die: “Hey, living people. Exactly one year ago, our journey began, and now itâs time for a new chapter. In the darkest nights, I buried my fallen zombies and brought them back to life under the full moon. But the real story is still to come. Stay calm, stay close (forever – pun intended), and Iâll tell you everything soon. Just remember one thing: the dead donât really die.” Yours, Dr. Dead
DOMINUM entered the scene in 2023 with a blast and hit the top 20 on the Official German Album Charts immediately with their debut album, Hey Living People. The bandâs second full-length album, The Dead Donât Die, tops its strong predecessor in maturity, production and songwriting, and is once again mixed and mastered by the brilliant Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Arch Enemy, Evergrey & more).
The opening anthem âWe Are Forlornâ sets the stage for whatâs to come, while DOMINUM continue with full-speed on âOne Of Usâ shortly after. The monumental title track âThe Dead Donât Dieâ is another highlight on The Dead Donât Die – a clever take on a classic childrenâs lullaby leads into brilliantly dark storytelling, which heavy instrumentation and a multifaceted vocal performance take to the next level. Feuerschwanz and dArtagnan mastermind Ben Metzner are featured on this song. In addition to the albumâs 10 original tracks, DOMINUM also delivers an exciting cover of Scorpionsâ classic hit âRock You Like A Hurricaneâ. Some formats come with the bonus CD Live at Graspop Metal Meeting 2024, which includes their acclaimed performance at Graspop 2024.
The Dead Donât Die Tracklisting: 1. We Are Forlorn 2. One Of Us 3. The Dead Don’t Die 4. Killed By Life 5. Die For The Devil 6. Don’t Get Bitten By The Wrong Ones 7. Happy Deadly Ending 8. Since the release of the first album in December 2023, DOMINUM has performed on nearly sold-out tours supporting big names such as Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Feuerschwanz and Peyton Parrish in Europe, as well as convinced international audiences at summer festivals such as Graspop and Rock Harz.
DOMINUM have just kicked off their first full headline tour right in time for the release of The Dead Donât Die, bringing their new horror stories to life on stage for the first time, after supporting Feuerschwanz on the second leg of their Fegefeuer tour again.

Finnish melodic death metal outfit VOIDFALLEN has dropped their new single, “Branding of Souls”, a heavy-hitting track that showcases the band’s signature blend of aggression and melody. The song is taken from their upcoming new album, “The Rituals of Resilience”, slated for release on January 24th, 2025, via Noble Demon.
“Branding of Souls” is accompanied by a powerful new music video, which can be viewed here:
“This song represents a darker and more aggressive side of Voidfallen: relentless beats, ominous choirs and truculent vocals create the soundtrack for the message of the song“, the band comments. “Branding of Souls can mean a different thing to everyone. To one it might be spiritual but to another it might be political. The core message is still the same: fight and resist the ill and draconian oppression that is forced upon you.“
Originally a two-piece project formed in 2019 by guitarists Tommi Kangaskortet and Henri Vuorenmaa, VOIDFALLEN has since expanded into a full band, bringing their powerful compositions to life on stage. Their debut album, “The Atlas of Spiritual Apocalypse”, released in 2021, established them as a force to be reckoned with in the melodic death metal scene. With “The Rituals of Resilience”, VOIDFALLEN are set to deliver a crushing blow, elevating their sound to new heights.
“The Rituals of Resilience” will be out on January 24, 2025, via Noble Demon and is available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION

In April 2025, the band will release their 10th album âRitual Supremacyâ, which will be celebrated with a performance at the 25th anniversary of the âKeep It True Festivalâ and many more shows. The album is also the first to feature new members Toni Ieva (bass) and Jörn Langenfeld (guitar), who joined the band in 2023.
âRitual Supremacyâ will be released by their new label partner ROAR (Grave Digger, Mystic Prophecy, Holy Moses and others), whose managing director Jochen Richert, Markus Wosgien (label management) and Lambros Kokkinos (product management) are long-time scene veterans. âThese are people we’ve known for ages and who have been supplying you and us with the stuff we all can’t and don’t want to live without for at least as long: high-quality heavy metal releases,â the band is pleased to say, adding: âWhen the label A&R first had his entire Sacred Steel record collection signed at the meeting with the band, we just knew: this is the right place for us! With ROAR behind us, we are now ideally positioned to finally release our new album âRitual Supremacyâ worldwide and on a broad basis after more than 8 years since the last release.â
âAs a native Swabian and friend of pure heavy metal, you are inevitably connected to Sacred Steel. You can sing along to their classics in your sleep and with a raised metal fist, and of course share unforgettable memories with the band, which has always remained true to themselves, yet continues to develop and, above all, still has something to say. âRitual Supremacyâ is a statement and will blow the mind of every true metalhead. The first single will be released in mid-January and the album will go on sale. Dress warmly,â states Markus Wosgien from ROAR.

With âBlack ‘n’ White Sessionsâ, SERAINA TELLI is releasing a very special album on Metalville Records.
âBlack ‘n’ White Sessionsâ shows where Seraina’s musical roots lie: she has reduced her music to the essentials and almost completely freed herself from electricity. She has always sung, written songs in her head and always has an acoustic guitar in the boot of her car for emergencies.
After her #1 album âAddicted To Colourâ, the artist presents herself in a completely new light. It showcases Seraina’s talent and the captivating songs from her first two albums without any harsh and heavy-sounding instruments in the background.
The album was produced in early 2024 by Rico Horber and Seraina Telli herself. For the songs on the second CD of the double album, she was supported by a number of great musicians, such as Anna Murphy (ex-Eluveitie, Cellar Darling), rock legend Lee Aaron, Chris Boltendahl (Grave Digger), Clementine Delauney (Visions Of Atlantis) and many other well-known artists. Together they created captivating and emotional duet versions of the songs.
Seraina and Rico Horber had had the idea for the âBlack ‘n’ White Sessionsâ for some time, as they wanted to show the world the intimate and vulnerable side of the otherwise hard-rocking woman.
And from black to white, there is no lack of colour here. On the contrary, there is even more to discover between the shades.
